i need a helmet
Discussion
im currently in the market for a new helmet, and there is just TOO many to choose from.
my requirements are: flip front, drop down sunglasses thingy, pinlock, no double D chin strap...
apart from that im not bothered about what brand it is or what colour it is etc. price wise id like to keep it under £150 although ill be happy to increase the budget for the perfect helmet.
suggestions?

AGV Corsa GP with LCD visor
But the visor alone is £145: https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/...keebz91 said:
You'll have a terrible time in a cheap modular helmet. The parts are noticeably bargain basement quality and the wind noise will be horrendous.
I have a Shoei Neotec... fit's the rest of your criteria and works for me perfectly.
If you look about, you can find a Neotec in last year's colours for under £300.I have a Shoei Neotec... fit's the rest of your criteria and works for me perfectly.

I am a fan of Shark Evoline helmets as the flip front goes right to the back - ridden thousands of miles in mine love it
Bit over budget but there are deals out there
I conveniently have one of these for sale. The Hakka colours, Large 59-60. As above an absolutely fantastic lid that I used for commuting for six months. One or two marks on it but never been dropped. OP send me a PM if you're interested and I'll ping over a load of pictures, I'm under your budget by about £40 Bit over budget but there are deals out there

Can't quite understand why you wouldn't want a D ring, they're such a simple effective piece of design, no moving parts and work every time.
They're a pain in the backside. Especially if you're like me and always forget to strap up, get up to speed then hear the strap whacking the side of the helmet. Then it's take the gloves off time. Mine is currently a D ring, the next one will definitly not be.My son has the AGV KS3 Winter Rossi (Grey/Black) and loves it. Any AGV KS3 should do though. Has all the features, picked it up for £160 almost a year ago so I'm guessing it'll be around your price range by now.

Did you mean K-3 SV? I have one and it's been great so far, but it isn't flip front. My son has the AGV KS3 Winter Rossi (Grey/Black) and loves it. Any AGV KS3 should do though. Has all the features, picked it up for £160 almost a year ago so I'm guessing it'll be around your price range by now.

Not within your budget, but it has all the features you are looking for, and I can promise you it is worth the price if you need a helmet to protect your head. Schuberth C3 Pro. I have crash tested one already, it saved my life, and I am on my second. No complaints - it is comfortable, quiet, and has all the mod-cons you'd want in a helmet with sun visor/pinlock/flip/bluetooth/no doubleD.my requirements are: flip front, drop down sunglasses thingy, pinlock, no double D chin strap...

C3 Pros are now on sale as Schuberth are releasing the more expensive C4 this summer.
Caberg Duke ticks all the boxes you've identified, is also 5 star SHARP rated and is one of the few flip fronts to be legally homologated to be used in both positions whilst riding. I bought one recently, bit noisier than my previous Caberg Ego in the wind but I have a decent screen and use a neck tube so not too big a deal for me. If you ride a naked you might want to test first. I paid £120 for mine.

Because they are a pain if you have to take your helmet on and off a few times. A micrometric buckle is easier, quicker and also works every time (in my experience)If I was a Sunday-only rider, I'd consider a D-ring helmet, but using bike for everything from sunday blasts to commuting to shopping, I'd rather have a micrometric.
