Given the obvious false flags in Orlando and Sandy Hook the murder of our people in Manchester wasn't another one frown
After the 9/11 false flag however we should not dismiss the possibility.

I hope this post is made in irony. Otherwise you're a tremendous piece of st.
Ah, a Useful Idiot, all riled up in his own ignorance.
Unfortunately these attacks have form, and well documented form.

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Operation+Gladio+terrori...

I suppose you think that WTC7 fell down on cue just by chance do you? Or that carrying wounded people toward the Pulse nightclub in a scene devoid of any ambulances is normal? Or a Sandy Hook victim waving his arm around after showing the camera the two gunshot entry wounds in shoulder from the day before is just one of those things?

Your ignorance condones these murders and encourages the murderers to continue doing it, stop having a go at me for wanting to find out who is responsible for the mass murder in Manchester, you are an insult to every victim of this terrible atrocity whose only crime was being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I'll ask again, in light of the reaction to Mondays attacks, what freedoms have you lost?

Go on, admit it. You're a flat-earther as well, aren't you? And that the moon missions were are all faked.

Loon.
I have to confess to arriving at the same opinion when reading his comments in this thread: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... and now skip his posts elsewhere.

It's sometimes easy to forget that of all the nutters and weirdos you meet in the real world, you'll probably encounter more of them online. I try to take everything posted with a pinch of salt.

Even my own posts. nuts

Are you sure that's safe?!

True story; in my first house, there the previous incumbent had DIY-installed a red light bulb in the airing cupboard which stepped up the level of alert if/when the immersion heater was on. Wise precaution.

Is Globs trolling? It has to be satire.

What's the point? How would it prevent the attack in Manchester?
The immediate threat may not be another Manchester-type event.

No; I could electrocute myself or fall off the ladder and break my neck while changing the bulb. What a dilemma.

I think it's more a visible re-assurance to the public.
My grandmother wasn't reassured by the baby tank at Heathrow- it scared her. I'm sure she wasn't the only one to think that way.

I have huge respect for the army & its professionalism but I don't want to live in a country with soldiers patrolling the streets.
Trust me - the soldiers don't want to either.

We, the Armed Forces, serve and protect the people by fighting the enemies of the state.
I hope people feel safer with soldiers a visible presence.

It's the fact that they don't want to that IMO makes them better suited to the job. Nevertheless it's not a job they're trained for or suited to and on principle I'm against armed troops controlling the populace. Their function is external not internal.

The reality of having a mostly unarmed police service (along with a low police per population ratio) is that there aren't sufficient armed officers when plans / contingencies like we've seen being triggered are triggered.

Yeah, me, too. Wasn't sure it was appropriate as the incident is still "fresh".

I'm wondering why having armed Police in a static location being replaced by the Military in a static location is "populace control"?

Do you not want more police available to actively hunt down terrorists, patrol areas of concern or reasure the public? I mean, do you think the Army is going to start patrolling down Camden high street like it's 80's Northern Ireland or something similar, because that's how your "populace control" comment sounds, which isn't what happening?
