I think Paxman hung him up like a kipper (small K), Hammas "friends" is just inclusive language, bks. My worry is, I'm worried he'll do an even bigger job on TM.

I agree. you cna let a politician answer a question without letting them skewer onto their pet topic. Jeremy was worse then Jeremy there. Where's Clarkson?

I think that if any politician called ISIS their "friends" they'd instantly be expelled from the whip.

Very good audience questions against Theresa May! Its going to be a difficult night for her, especially when she's being very realistic and Corbyn is selling a dream.

Corbyn was very good. May has those awful media-trained hand gestures that instantly make you think 'liar'.

But I wish Paxman had homed in on his economic policies, or lack of them, rather than focus entirely on Trident and his terrorist allegiances.

May is doing better so far than I expected. She's actually answering the questions.

I think she's coming over quite naturally and reasonably relaxed and trying to answer the Qs

She actually seems to be coming across as a real person with relatively straight answers, whereas Corbyn was the slick politician well versed in the art of answering a question without answering it.

Both of them sound much more sincere that Cameron and Miliband ever did though,

May is running down the clock a bit.

The audience don't seem to be warming to her as they did for Corbyn. They're only clapping the questions not the answers. Corbyn seemed much better received.

She's even getting heckled.
