Hate speech laws like the ones currently being used to prosecute Jayda Fransen? Yep, we have them and they've been used against quite a few Islamic extremists preachers.
The Sunderland rape claim would be the one which the CPS declined to prosecute due to lack of evidence and the alleged victim refused to cooperate with the police when they requested she review the details?
This case isn't much different from several of those involving Islamic extremists - all involve gullible individuals who believe hate filled bile spouted by twisted 'patriots' (either of this country or an Islamic caliphate).
Pathetic actions like those of Britain First, Knights Templar International, etc, just serve to polarise opinions and make it almost impossible to sensibly discuss any real problems with some in this country who claim to follow Islam.
Interesting that Fransen seems to have initiated direct contact (via Twitter DM). Very different to Robinson's email which sounds like it was just one of his typical posts to his mailing list.
I ask again then, what would you like done about it? The Sunderland rape claim would be the one which the CPS declined to prosecute due to lack of evidence and the alleged victim refused to cooperate with the police when they requested she review the details?

New laws?
Media bans on certain groups and people? Even if they haven't broken any current law's
Literal put our fingers in our ears and pretend there isn't a problem or do we look at the cause of this hate and try and tackle that honest and fairly?
Pretty happy with the application of existing laws actually - they've been used against a fair few Islamic hate preachers and also some far right st stirrers like Britain First. Robinson seems to stay just within the limits of what the police/CPS deem acceptable.
The likes of Britain First (and their multitude of alternate identities) do seem to be suffering somewhat on Facebook of late - they've had a fair few provably fake items removed, which seems to annoy them somewhat. But they've not been banned entirely.
Never denied there's a problem with some who claim to follow Islam. But trying to address that is pretty impossible with Tommy and friends blaming all Muslims for everything. It leads to statements like "all Muslims are terrorists" (which the attacker was overheard saying in a pub the night before the attack).
Robinson even labelled 2 car accidents as Jihadi attacks - didn't need any evidence, just made that claim based on the appearance of the drivers.

Darren Osborne, 48, has denied he was behind the wheel during the attack on 19 June 2017, telling Woolwich Crown Court a "guy called Dave" was driving.
Taking to the witness box, Mr Osborne said he met Dave at a pub in Treforest, South Wales, in early April or March last year, while he also met a man called Terry Jones, and that the trio discussed their political views.
Mr Osborne said they swapped drivers and he was "in the footwell" while Dave was driving, adding he had "no idea" where Dave went after the collision.

Osbourne went on to claim that he was radicalised by Jones' claim that as a child he used to have to get up out of a shoebox at twelve o'clock at night, and lick the road clean with his tongue; was fed on handful of freezing cold gravel, work twenty-four hours a day at the mill for fourpence every six years, and when we he finally got home, his Dad would slice him in two with a bread knife. So he's complaining that someone he engages in discussion with online is threatening to visit his house to talk in person?Tommy robinson has been getting alot of grief because of what he says is lies in court.
Would this be the same Tommy Robinson who tracked down people who commented on his YouTube videos and visited them in person to talk?
No double standards there then...

An utterly imbecilic defence. Is he representing himself or something?
Shows the mentality of someone who'd carry out an attack like this on random strangers.

Tommy robinson does raise a valid point though, people threaten to kill him, and the police take no action.
