And anyway - this is the most annoying thing...what the hell is wrong with children seeing some cleavage? I'd be more concerned about the drivel they're watching in general.
In all due seriousness, my 8 year old daughter asked me if she was pretty compared to one of the contestants on X Factor not long ago. Broke my heart that at 8 years old she was already trying to benchmark herself against women on TV in the £1000 outfits and hours & hours in make up. Hard to explain it to her, and she quickly shrugged it off, but it upset me more then she'll ever know. Way society is, but until that moment I hadn't given it much thought; but seeing her ernest, slightly puzzled look floored me. .
Just as boys want to be like their football hero.
Assuming you can instill self confidence in her, she'll be just fine. I wouldn't worry at all.
Children go through this one way or another, it's as you put it that seems wrong - girls aspire to be pretty/show off a bit o' leg, boys aspire to be good at something?
I sound like a bloody feminist.
And now at the other end of the scale - this advert has been banned for showing too much.
How common is it?

Yea it objectified women... For a product with a target audience of... Women. Still, 17 complaints is obviously a majority worthy of an investigation.
ASA will investigate after a single complaint - there's no trigger number. They're currently investigating a mobile phone supplier after a single complaint (from me)...saaby93 said:

To be honest, that is a bit too revealing for "daytime" TV.How common is it?

I wish this hugely over sexualised culture would go away TBF.
Doesn't do my wrist any good!
