Likely to be next leader of the LibDems. But is it just me who thinks there's something a little 'unhinged' about him?
Some of the things he came out with during the coalition government and now the 'Brexit may never happen...' comment. Does he say this stuff because he truly believes it, or is it a lucky shot in the dark so he can wheel out the 'told you so, you're not laughing now.' if ever these things happen?
I suppose if you get on outsiders long enough, eventually one will come in.

Its likely he won't see Britain actually leave the EU in his lifetime.
Our key politicians, tory and labour, are utterly inept. All we are going to see for the next few years is political point scoring by 3rd rate failures who wouldn't make it in the real world.
Sadly this is likely to be true. The politicians we are currently saddled with are more interested in point scoring than doing what they are supposed to do, and indeed paid to do, i.e. what's best for the country. Our key politicians, tory and labour, are utterly inept. Utterly Contemptible, the lot of them!

He's 74, which means at the next election he'll be ..........74. And yet here we are with Corbyn (late 60s), Cable (74), and May who is, what? Late 50s?

Why? I'm mean genuinely, why is he a bell end? I'm not that knowledgeable about him, although I understand he forewarned parliament about the financial crisis as far back as 2003./thread

I think I remember him doing something good a few years ago but can't remember what it was.
