I do wonder though why us Brits are taking so much interest and wait on every word he writes on twitter though.

This is an issue for American voters, not us Brits.
We are not in a position to vote him out or vote him in.
So called leader of the free world. Things they do have a huge impact on the rest of the world, it's not just restricted to their country.

Nothing more than a cult figure to some people.

So he has kept all his promises, but any that he hasn't delivered on is not his fault. To these people he can do no wrong which is scary.

Yes, "a quarrel in a far away country between people of who we know nothing."

The population of the UK can't directly impact his decision making, but it can impact our Government's response to it, which very much has an impact domestically. We didn't vote in George W Bush, but his actions in relation to the Middle East directly impacted the UK Government position, and have had a considerable impact on us ever since. How Trump acts in relation to a variety of topics very much influences things outside the US. South Koreans don't vote for him either, but I'd suggest they have a right to be concerned about his behaviour, given his relationship with their northern neighbour.

Especially over 30? At what age is there more justification?
I don't know, in some states you can have consensual relationship with 14yo if you are no more than 6-7 years older which is OK. There are some very childish looking 20y olds and some very mature looking 14y olds.

If you look at his supporters on this thread, it's, once again, hardly surprising.

I see. Because we can't vote in the US we should have no views on what happens there.

I hadn't realised that. I'd better chuck out all those books I've read on the Vietnam War and American 20th Century Hiistory.

Jesus Christ.
It’s probably the first time I’ve said this on PH.
Just shut the fk up.
You have some serious serious issues that I would not know where to begin to address.
Defending the indefensible is amongst the most reprehensible of all actions.

So you would be perfectly happy knowing a 21 year old man was shagging your 14 year old daughter?

Yes, and while you're about it, stop commenting on Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Iran or any other international situation that has any effect of the UK, just stop it Eric, really.

Do those three have democratic elected leaders?

Come on now, don't be daft. Only if it was a childish looking man and he had a mature looking daughter.

Yes, Iran does. President Rouhani was democratically elected, again, this year.
