Apparently Stephen Curry is an NBA player who said he wasn’t fussed about visiting with his team.

There are so many crazy stories it's difficult to keep up. Trump's ego is so fragile and this is painful. A number of Patriots pulled out of the WH trip earlier in the year and he didn't like it. Steph Curry is (after Le Bron) the top player in the NBA and Trump can't handle the diss from a black athlete.

He also went after (black) NFL players that kneel for the anthem calling them "sons of bhes". The NFL have responded by effectively telling him to go Fkk himself.

He's completely barking.

On the face of it he came across well in California but anyone know if he actually achieved much?
MY Californian friends say not really. He couldn't play the game because of heeldragging. The inbuilt politicians not liking interlopers.

And if you don't have internet access there is reason to suggest you are unable to vote. Your own choice.

A while ago the Donald decided to build a golf course in Scotland, promised all sorts of things to get it built, like he does, jobs, enviromental protection etc. Watch the documentary "You've been Trumped" it's on Vimeo about the whole treatment of Forbes, the farmer neighbour and his bullying and threatening tactics. Entirely within the donalds character of course to lash out against those that oppose him. We've seen it oh so many times.

Of course he didn't fulfill any of the promises. Now he want to expand into a second golf course again.

Mike Forbes was the farmer next door that Trump tried to bully, threaten, tried to use a compulsory purchase, then Trump even fenced off part of the land owned by Forbes and finally cut off their running water. At that point hundreds of small plots of land were sold to people to make the possible compulsory purchase (or purchase by the donald) so much more difficult. We own the land and allow Michael Forbes to use the land as he sees fit, free. Direct action doesn't have to be violent and to accuse people of non action, wasting effort, is strange when you know very little and make assumptions.

Small actions by many have a snowball effect. We saw that with social media during the election, numerous russian backed fake news stories helping sow the distrust and getting him elected. You can't now complain the the same tools are being used to hold him to account.
YOu helped him win? If so, I salute you!

All of my parrots are deployed at full stretch on the Brexit thread, so I cannot tell what that last post means or how ironic or non ironic it might be.

Is the "him" Trump or the farmer?

Trump can certainly multitask. Taking on the NFL, NBA and DPRK all at the same time.

The arguing with sports stars thing is just the transgender ban all over again. "Dodgy Russia stories are in the news. Quick, say something controversial and ridiculous!"

It's good but sadly will have no effect on Trump.

Sadly, I have to agree.

But people need to keep writing articles like that - no matter how impervious Trump may be.

The NFL thing defies comprehension. There's not a facepalm meme in existence that would do it justice.

As I keep saying, his main skill is alienating people - including those who might be inclined to support him.

You do wonder how low he can drag America in the eyes of the rest of the world and the damage he will inflict on American society with his encouragement of a virtual race war. An attack on baseball cannot be far away as he has already gone for the NFL and NBA.
