How to enjoy golf -

1. Put golf clubs in boot of car.

2. Leave them there and go for pleasant walk.

3. Go to pub.

Repeat as often as desired.
Or put clubs in boot go to mini putt putt course with some friends that serves beers. Rent some putters and have a whale of a time drinking beer and trying to beat each other.

I went to mini putt putt for the first time in years the other day and managed a 7 over par?? par being 42 and I got 49

Also had to do two shots lying on the putting green using the putter like a pool queue as the ball got caught under a bridge on one hole and in an obstacle tunnel on another (made par on on of those two pool shots too)

As to the 50% that is the number I think Philip Defranco who has a youtube channel gave. I am not sure where he got his numbers but usually what he says checks out as he has a team of researchers working for him etc. And FYI he is not a huge trump fan. His position on trump is very sensible.
No-one else has this figure, not even the white house has said, because they just didn't know even the number of soldiers or their details. After the donald opened his mouth/tweets and turned this into a controversy there was a huge scramble to find out.
I think
I think Philip Defranco, in trying to build a news channel has probably , lets put this politely, 'suggested' a figure
Very much doubt it. Seems to pride himself in accuracy and is very quick to correct if he finds errors in a stories reporting.

Are you doubting he called the widow a liar?

PhillyD did not call the widow a liar. In fact his commentary on it was very reasoned and he took fairly neutral ground even though he was discussing the congresswoman not the widow.

This is the section of the show where he discusses it last Wednesday iirc..

I’ve no interest in this person. I’m asking why Trump is calling the widow a liar?

Not a scoobies I assume that happened today. If he has outright accused her of lying I am on the fence unfortunately. There is so much anti trump hate i would not put it past her to accuse Trump of doing something he didnt equally Trump is often full of st or tells lies so may be lying.. fk knows.

Simply put he has dug himself a huge hole from which there is no way to get out in this case due to the sensitivity of the matter. She may be lying but he cannot reasonably accuse a widow of doing so as its seriously out of order but if she is it would also be a bitter pill to swallow to state he had lied to avoid accusing her of lying. scratchchin

He hasn't got the wit or moxie to take this one on the chin and back down. He is of extremely flawed character. You can sometimes win battles by executing a tactical withdrawal. Trump does not seem to understand this or if he does, he is too vain to allow himself to exercise this option.

To even countenance this it demonstrates that you’re utterly deluded. If you think a grieving widow has any energy to defame that fat orange , you clearly don’t know much.

So no-one else has claimed 50%. Where was his source for 50% and what other source verifies this figure when not even the white house has put a figure on it.

On top of which he claimed he has proof of the phone call, so release it donnie and prove you haven't been lying again.

It is clear now that Trump not only told Johnson her husband "knew what he signed up for," but he then lied about it afterwards and attacked a sitting congresswoman as "whacky" without justification. He also enlisted his press secretary to misrepresent it, and even positioned Kelly as a shield from the truth, who incidentally also lied about Wilson and the FBI funding as the video of her speech proved.

This is the same President that was saying the NFL were disrespectful to the military, the same President that joked with Hannity through Retreat, had to be prompted by Melania to put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem, from a man who used his wealth and 5 deferments to avoid military service.

If he can't win he will either (a) bash around in the water until nobody remembers or cares what it was about any more or (b) pay his lawyers to frighten away anyone challenging his position. Either way, he doesn't lose. This is his No 1 goal in life.
