Careful, "cliché" is a French word, isn't it?

Can't have foreign words getting through the wall.

Well, they help them win, you would think they would be grateful for the odd word slipping in.

EVERYBODY upsets him - eventually.

"Lashing out" is the Trump default reaction.

He might well end up behind bars.

I'm reminded of the line from "!Back to the Future" - "Better get used to those bars, kid".
I think it's meant to be a playpen... biggrin

Pressed if he thought Trump was a liar, Corker added: "The president has great difficulty with the truth on many issues."

Small p on President smile

If the rumors are right Barron is unlikely to rise to any kind of office.
You really are scummy. He's a kid, and doesn't deserve your attacks.

It's cowardly. ("I'm not saying it myself, I just heard the rumours" - sound familiar?)

And it's desperate. No matter how much you hate his father, it is not appropriate to attack an 11 year old.

I agree. He is just a child. He didn't choose his father. Attacks on Clinton's daughter were similarly cheesy, IIRC. Some in the UK used to have pops at Blair's children. Mega cheesy all of it.

Have a look at the scene from "Back to the Future" to which I refer. You'll get the connection then smile

IIRC, unrep was so utterly convinced that Trump would never be elected, that I'm not sure he's best placed to make a suggestion like that. He's been wrong before!
In fairness to Unrep maybe he had realised what kind of President Trump was going to turn out to be and assumed everybody else could see that as well......

Very much doubt it. Seems to pride himself in accuracy and is very quick to correct if he finds errors in a stories reporting.
So no-one else has claimed 50%. Where was his source for 50% and what other source verifies this figure when not even the white house has put a figure on it.

On top of which he claimed he has proof of the phone call, so release it donnie and prove you haven't been lying again.

It is clear now that Trump not only told Johnson her husband "knew what he signed up for," but he then lied about it afterwards and attacked a sitting congresswoman as "whacky" without justification. He also enlisted his press secretary to misrepresent it, and even positioned Kelly as a shield from the truth, who incidentally also lied about Wilson and the FBI funding as the video of her speech proved.

This is the same President that was saying the NFL were disrespectful to the military, the same President that joked with Hannity through Retreat, had to be prompted by Melania to put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem, from a man who used his wealth and 5 deferments to avoid military service.

Is not up for debate that he said it. I think even Trump has said he said it but it was the context that was missing. He said "He knew what he signed up for but it doesnt make it any easier" according to the congresswoman.

Like i said i really dont see the issue in him saying it. If he had simply said "he knew what he signed up for" its not great but not a big deal at all. As i have said I have been there done that got the T shirt in losing a family member very suddenly. I know what she has gone through.

This story is being made into a much bigger deal than it should be because people as per normal are looking for the smallest reasons to criticise Trump. I say this not as a fanboy but simply someone tired of the non stop whining and hunting for reasons to be upset or offended by Trump.

Was that book ghost written? Seem to remember someone posting an interview with the writer.
Not only ghostwritten but the author, Tony Schwartz has engaged in a lengthy Mea culpa in which the Damascene conversion has seen him do the poacher turned game keeper thing, to pile on the metaphors with gay abandon.
Not to burst your bubble but most celeb, authoritative peoples books are ghost written.

Not a scoobies I assume that happened today. If he has outright accused her of lying I am on the fence unfortunately. There is so much anti trump hate i would not put it past her to accuse Trump of doing something he didnt equally Trump is often full of st or tells lies so may be lying.. fk knows.

Simply put he has dug himself a huge hole from which there is no way to get out in this case due to the sensitivity of the matter. She may be lying but he cannot reasonably accuse a widow of doing so as its seriously out of order but if she is it would also be a bitter pill to swallow to state he had lied to avoid accusing her of lying. scratchchin
I don't understand your logic.

You recognise that Trump is full of st and lies (He does.Continuously. About anything and everything.)

The widow on the other hand has no reason to lie, no track record of being a liar, and has her version of events corroborated by other people.

But you're "on the fence"? confused

The guy's a prize tit. The only good thing about this is that it's distracting him from global thermonuclear war.
Not sure how I can make it clearer. As far as I am concerned the congresswoman tried to smear Trump using the call Trump made to the widow and as such it leads me to wonder if she had the permission of the widow to do so. If you then take the fact the widow has said Trumps actual words were " He knows what he signed up for but it doent make it any easier" and she then goes on to say but that didnt bother her as much as him not knowing her husbands name as she was sure he was checking it from a piece of paper.

Ergo to my mind it is entirely possible she is anti trump and is out to smear him.

On those grounds I cannot say I am sure Trump is at fault here.

Unfortunately. His default is to attack which is utterly moronic.
