I didn't say he was Hitler. I was just speculating that he shared certain similar characteristics. I am pretty sure that in certain other circumstances he would be even more like AH. What is saving the US at the moment is that their democratic and governmental institutions are robust and keeping him in check.

Germany's democracy in the 1930s was much weaker and not that well supported by formal institutions or even the populace.

The US will survive DT I'm, sure.

I do wonder though why us Brits are taking so much interest and wait on every word he writes on twitter though.

This is an issue for American voters, not us Brits.
We are not in a position to vote him out or vote him in.
