I do wonder though why us Brits are taking so much interest and wait on every word he writes on twitter though.

This is an issue for American voters, not us Brits.
We are not in a position to vote him out or vote him in.
I am a Brit but work for an American company and most years work out of the USA for about 8 months.

I am I allowed an opinion?

Well, OK. You're allowed 2/3rds of an opinion. Which I think is an onion.

Yes, Iran does. President Rouhani was democratically elected, again, this year.
I might as well easily have used; Sweden, Spain, Germany and turkey, also all big chatting points on PH, I'll have to check wiki to see if they are dictatorships or not though.

Who cares? You asked the question, there's the answer. As irrelevant as it is to whether we are allowed to comment about what goes on in other countries. Any further witty and incisive comments to add?

Yes, and while you're about it, stop commenting on Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Iran or any other international situation that has any effect of the UK, just stop it Eric, really.
Quite right. I'm only going to talk about Farnborough from now on.

So you would be perfectly happy knowing a 21 year old man was shagging your 14 year old daughter?
should I be more happy if he was 18?! That's a very strange question to ask.

I see the donald yesterday tweeted:
Will be having meetings and working the phones from the Winter White House in Florida (Mar-a-Lago). Stock Market hit new Record High yesterday - $5.5 trillion gain since E. Many companies coming back to the U.S. Military building up and getting very strong.

Then went out and played golf all day... whilst one of his team tweeted about the crashed navy aircraft

The donald ceasing business links with Trump Soho New York hotel, that was linked to russian money laundering, and was a deal involving felix slater.

I'm sure it's nothing to do with Mueller investigating his finances, all these sudden closures...

I see. Because we can't vote in the US we should have no views on what happens there.

I hadn't realised that. I'd better chuck out all those books I've read on the Vietnam War and American 20th Century Hiistory.

I'm sure all your keyboard warrior-ing is being read by the Trump administration wink
So carry on.

All I was saying is that convincing fellow Brits on how we should be thinking about Trump is a little futile.

And before that may be seen as an open door to then accuse me of being an 'apologist', I'm not. I have no emotion about Trump whatsoever.

Conditioning, I suspect.

I've got a few friends that have fallen down the rabbit hole; it's sad on the level of seeing a loved one get dementia. frown
