The Person of the Year award is not given to people by Time because they particular like or support that person. The award is given to people who they feel have had an impact in the year - not always for the good.

Adolf Hitler was Person of the Year in 1938.
Josef Stalin in 1942
Nikita Khrushchev in 1957
Richard Nixon in 1971
The Ayatollah Khomeini in 1980
Yeah, missed the bit where he was in the running. Pity.

I know the rest are for that reason.

Just a reminder that the Senate Judiciary Committee gave Jared Kushner until today to turn over the missing records—including the emails about WikiLeaks and a “backdoor overture” from Russia during the election, which he so far hasn't done.

Yes he was at his Palm Beach course yesterday, grifting another few $$$ out of the taxpayer.

http://trumpgolfcount.com/

The President has also been on the golf course almost three times as much as Barack Obama did during his first year.

Not forgetting Trump said: ”I'm going to be working for you, I'm not going to have time to go play golf.”

I agree with you there, I assume you are on about half the people on this thread though?
A lot less than half. Probably a handful at most....

Since Mueller was appointed, Trump has not given a single interview to CNN, CBS, ABC or NBC i.e. the main media outlets ion the US. He has only given interviews to Fox.

Trump knows that Time Magazines "Person of the Year" normally results in a round of interviews with all the main players in the US media. It is highly likely that he has decided to withdraw himself from any chance of being selected as Time magazine's Person of the Year because of his fear of interviews that he has no control over or with interviewers who might ask him some hard questions.

.
And what's would these hard questions be? "Are you a racist, sexiest, Russian operative?" And what's makes you think he wouldn't just handle it like he does every time, with fake news? Which would just play to his support group. They hate the likes of CNN more that Trump does.

The American media is not impartial and as no obligation to be. They are commercial entities with economical and political driven agendas and as such the president as not obligation to talk to them.

An open media can ask any question it likes. That's democracy at work.

This coward of a President is afraid to face up to strong questioning and will only go where he feels safe i.e. his friends at Fox.

Even Nixon faced the press - a press he despised - but wasn't afraid of.

Surely if he wasn't bothered by being Time Person of the Year then he wouldn't have a fake Time cover in all his properties?

Does he by any chance have toddler grandchildren running around who could have picked up his phone and tweeted that? Because it didn't come from a fully-developed adult mind.

Proof that Russia was involved is there.
Where exactly?!
Exactly. There has been no evidence provided to show that any Russian entity did anything to alter the vote or have any real impact on the election.

It is simply a distraction cooked up Mook and Podesta. Wikileaks mails back this, and so does the Allen/Parnes book.

Brazile also confirmed the outrageous levels of corruption within the DNC a few weeks back (although that was also proven long ago via Wikileaks).

It's a house of cards, and the narrative will continue to shift. If they hope to beat Trump next time 'round, I sincerely hope they don't go with Biden, as there are some very disturbing videos going around at the moment.

Involvement dear person. How much no one knows, not you and not me can know as of yet what the effect was, nothing, slightly or full on caused a swing.

You have evidence to the contrary?

There's been plenty of evidence provided, the only thing thats clear is you've been steadfastly ignoring it

So why won't Kushner hand over his emails if they aren't incriminating (you know those ones on the personal server)
Oh those emails, on that family server
