And yet you try to have a discussion about some of Trumps policies and actions and they'll ignore it, yet jump on minor things.
I tried to have a discussion about trump removing aid to Pakistan which actually went to the anti terrorist agencies, but that didn't get very far.

The thing is, if he stuck to his polices he said on the election trail, there wouldn't be anything to complain about because thats what he said he was going to do, but he seems to flip/flop depending on what mood he's in, whos upset him, who last spoke to him.

Then he's not actually interested in the work or responsibilities involved in being President, just in the status.

This is interesting, more about Sater, Bayrock, Trump Soho

http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow/watch/sketchy-k...

Which puts an interesting perspective on why the President of Kazakhstan was invited for talks with Trump, how the bank he now controls has all the records of money laundering that went through Trump Soho, how Trump was paid $1m to promote a Trump tower in Georgia that never happened as the money was just stolen.

One of the USA's greatest Presidents, the only one to serve 4 terms, was very unwell and often wheelchair bound throughout his presidency, he died 11 weeks into his 4th term. Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Another who is lauded, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, was incredibly sickly and was a regular user of drugs that impaired his judgement.

Physical health does not a great President make.
No, but it doesn't hurt either. JFK was lauded, but had only served half a term.

Point out where I said it did.

Trump could be an Olympian but he'd still be a berk.

FDR and JFK had brains.

This is somewhat off point though.

Trump's routine physical exam became a platform to look at his mental faculties (apparently at Trump's insistence to boot).

The test he was given, if the reports of its on the internet are to be believed, appears to be undemanding. Perhaps that is all that's required to detect early signs of genuine clinical dementia - I have no idea. But however one looks at it, getting good marks in an undemanding test is not a reassuring way to test the mental abilities of a President.

Moreover, the main concern about Trump that has been repeatedly expressed week after week for the last year isn't whether he has early onset Alzheimer's, it's whether he has the judgement and temperament for the job he now has. How one tests that, I don't know, but if it can be tested and weighed against a reliable benchmark I'd wager a fair sum it would take a test more sophisticated than the test Trump appears to have taken.

The apparently silly bending of figures for his height (to be taller than Obama) and his weight (to avoid being classified as obese) is pretty childish. Trivial, but childish nonetheless.

Think about that for a moment.

There is a reason this thread has become a parody where as no other POTUS PH threads from the past have become such.

Unusual Presidential behaviour provokes usual internet response, which is vociferous.

Surprised people are surprised.
I think it is the fact that there are a small handful of brainwashed eccentrics who attempt, with a comical lack of success, to defend Trump. This makes it far more fun on this thread, in my view. There are flounces on a regular basis but, thankfully, there always seem to be a couple of them around to keep us all entertained.
Well the mainstream media hate love affair has actually got lots of money out of Donald, he hates them but it takes two to tango. Both actually are scratching backs. They get the views and clicks and he can alway blame it on them as fake news. Winners all.

Donalds Fake news oscars tonight, wonder how it will go, or will it be a damp squib?

Indeed she is.

It's not that she is a moron, she was desperately trying not to tell the truth. It was the best she could come up with whilst trying to avoid saying "no comment",.

Trump is so stupid he is making the clever people who he has appointed look even more stupid as they struggle to defend him.

Apparently Sean Spicer was well respected in Washington before Trump.

KellyAnne Conway mimes blowing her brains out behind Trumps back.

Working for him must be bloody awful. Humiliating too, if your role is a public facing one.

As if you've just posted the equivalent of "snowflake".....

Per above, this is now beyond parody.
What would you like to discuss then? How Stormy Daniels arranged her meets through Schiller, just like the Steele dossier said happened in Moscow.
That would make Schiller of interest to be interviewed.

How about how hotels with Trumps name on are removing them, following disastrous drop in bookings?

Or the money laundering and how Investigation have so far found that over a fifth of his US condominiums have been purchased by unidentified organizations in secret and in cash since the 1980s

Or how Trump had a meeting with the President of Kazakhstan who its alleged had been laundering money through Trump SOHO.
There's an awful lot of money laundering linked to Trump.
Any of that is fine.

I'm not a Trump supporter by the way......

You can be as rabid in your rants as you like. Nothing you say or do will make a difference.

I was merely pointing out the irony of you playing into the hands of Trump and his supporters but it seems that's gone over your head which isn't that surprising given the level you had chosen to pitch at. Raise the bar, don't give the opposition easy points and people like FCR can't come back and haunt you. As it is, you're playing their game and losing.

I’m not sure I agree. As another poster pointed out he has treated countless people badly and yet not a single one has a bad thing to say about him. Even Bannon tried to wheedle his way back into Trump’s good books. Priebus, Spicer, Flynn, Scaramucci, Christie, and all the others that have been given the big E have been gushing in their praise. Not only ex-employees, even former political rivals try their best to chummy up with him eg Rubio, Lindsey Graham, even Romney had dinner with him after the election in the hope of getting the Sec of State posting.....

Perhaps, their own need for the promised 15 minutes fame is so great that they don't mind bending over so far that they risk being mistaken for bike stands.

JFK and brains leads to a very obvious bad taste joke

GWB and Clinton arent rocket scientists but its the people that you surround yourself with as President that make you look good or bad, and Trump has his C game

That's true.

When he won, my immediate thought was, thank god he will have seasoned politicians around him to advise and hopefully run things from behind the scenes.

Silly me.

The cube drawing and other things are stuff that Terry Pratchett did to show how his skills deteriorated. SO the test looks genuine.

Trumps legal team denied any affair with stormy Daniels, after it emerged she was paid just before the election to keep quiet.
Turns out she gave a 2011 interview detailing their affair which started 4 months after Barron was born.

Tbf, we'd all give our eye-teeth to bang a pornstar and a supermodel in the same year.

Trump deserves a pass on this one.
