Oh this keeps getting funnier..

Friday the US government might shut down. Its budget time and its always difficult, this time daca and even Republicans senators are causing issues.

Trump is though going to mar-a-lago Friday afternoon hes throwing a party on Saturday, $100,000 a ticket or $250,000 to actually meet him.

White House are looking at if a trump tweet late on Friday could count as signing the budget bill.

The government might shut down but trumps off making a fortune throwing a party.. How crazy.
I found this very strange. And Pence is also flying out the country for three days

What is Hannity on about?

http://thehill.com/homenews/media/369676-hannity-t...

Some memo that has not seen the light of day claiming it will stop the inquiry.
Wasn't Hannity implicated in all this as well, with constant communication with Mannafort, even after he left team trump? hes supposed to have been in regular contact with trump as well. If Mannafort was wiretapped then the FBI will have those conversations

The Congress Fusion GPS testimony came a couple of months after the house testimony, after Fusion had been attacked. This is Simpson defending his company and providing even more information.

With Hannity deeply tied into team trump, it's no wonder he tried the deflection technique

When you have been bending the rules (and I'm being polite using that term) for as long as Trump has, did he or no-one in his inner circle not think that the kind of scrutiny POTUS comes under would destroy him.

He could end up in jail for his business practices that have nothing to do with the presidency, let alone the collusion stuff tied to his campaign subsequently.

Any serious people who operate with scant regard for the law, avoid the spotlight like the plague.

Even a well liked president comes under intense scrutiny, and Trump, being as divisive as he is, will only come under more.

I'm amazed he didn't run a mile (he's in amazing shape after all...) when it was suggested he put his name forward.

The ego is a powerful thing...

Trumps lawyer, Cohen, setup a company in Delaware and used it to make the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels, for things that never happened...

It's OK, the shutdown won't affect the important things going on biggrin

Weren't Trumps lawyers advising him the whole investigation would be over by Xmas?

If I had legal advice like that, I'd be in the market for new representation.

Occasionally I watch a Hannity show on youtube just to see how crazy he is and they have been pushing this angle for months. For them its all about Clintons, Fusion GPS and how the FBI is corrupt and the investigation needs to stop. Apparently everything has been confirmed by Fox News sources.

I suppose for them its all about discrediting the FBI and investigation to ensure that even if Trump is found guilty of collusion by Mueller that its all a fix.

Its ironic that he and Fox's agenda is to goes on about the left liberal fake news media and how its all focused unfairly on russia and spreading fake news about the president. If you take a look at his show, Tucker Carlson, Judge Jeanine Pirro all they focus on is the other side of the story and hate about Clintons.

Fox is making sure that no matter what Trump does, they make sure his base sees the bad in everyone else.

The line on a graph plotting 'time remaining as POTUS' against 'cash to grab' will be steepening now.

He has a history of not paying his bills and being dishonest about his lawyers (to the point they had to meet with him in pairs to account for his "lack of memory"). A reputation like that doesn't attract the best hehe

Hannity has form for embracing nutjob conspiracy theories, and is the archetype Trump ball washing loon, so if he is peddling that it is almost certainly top to bottom bullst.

I think I saw it (the memo) described elsewhere as reading like a wishlist written by a GOP staffer.

Trump's frauds,, shady associations, adulteries, public lies and racism were ALL KNOWN prior to the election and not ONE of the House Republicans came out and said this man can't be POTUS.

Pence won't be needed as there is bipartisan agreement on a funding bill. The problem is that Trump, who said he would sign whatever bill came to him, now won't and McConnell won't have a vote on a bill unless he knows that Trump will sign it. The republicans do not have a single clue how to run anything, it's pathetic.

I was in the US in November and a border guard died in Texas. It was either an accident or an attack, evidence and injuries at the time were unclear on which.

According to Fox News it was definitely an illegal immigrant attack on the fearless, brave border guard. They ran a report slamming CNN for saying that it could have been an accident or attack as the evidence wasn't conclusive. To prove this Fox showed a clip of the CNN report saying it could be either which at the end clearly referenced the government, police and state sources all saying the cause at this time was unknown.

There was then an in-studio 'debate' with all the Fox anchors agreeing how "fake news" CNN was peddling despicable lies as the death was obviously an attack, an attack on America, Liberty, burgers, hotdogs, apple pie so the wall needs to be built ASAP etc etc.

The fact that they had just shown a clip of CNN quoting official sources saying cause unknown clearly passed them by as it didn't fit their agenda.
The fact that no-one at Fox News thought to edit the clip removing the end part to fit their narrative better tells you something too.

I didn't bother watching Fox after that.

I honestly believe it was simple vanity that made him do it. Immature people like him always have to measure themselves against others in order to feel any sense of self-value. Usually squillionaires do it on a bottom-line net worth basis, but trump would have seen the POTUS gig as the ultimate achievement that nobody else could top.

Trumps Mar-A-Lago party - where's the money going to? Is this just another 'campaing' fundraiser so he can pay his legal fees?

Some of the costs of Trumps security are out
