I watched his UN speech, I thought it was well delivered.
Blimey, maybe he is starting to get good.
Really? Blimey, maybe he is starting to get good.
From what I’ve read it was an utter embarrassment in parts which and he tried to turn it into a campaign rally rather than addressing leaders.
Example;
TRUMP: Fortunately, the United States has done very well since election day last November 8th. The stock market is at an all-time high, a record. Unemployment is at its lowest level in 16 years, and because of our regulatory and other reforms, we have more people working in the United States today than ever before. Companies are moving back, creating job growth the likes of which our country has not seen in a very long time. And it has just been announced that we will be spending almost $700 billion dollars on our military and defense. Our military will soon be the strongest it has ever been.
The crowd was laughing at him at points due to him going off on tangents.

Seriously? A supposed Statesman telling the World he can destroy another Nation if he chooses to? To kill millions of people? Blimey, maybe he is starting to get good.
Yes, I guess if you advocate the murder of millions in North Korea and hundreds of thousands in neighbouring South Korea as a direct result of destroying NK, then he delivered well enough.
True Statesmen do not use a platform such as he had to attempt to demonstrate what a big c**k they have, to use childish nicknames for other Leaders (even if they are mad) as though they are an anonymous poster on PH and to inform the World what a great Leader they think they are!
I'm not suggesting the USA and UN do not use force if necessary to stop NK if it came to that, but you don't grandstand like a spotty teenager who has seen a pair of boobs for the first time and suddenly think 'he's da Man!'

China has IMO been doing an OK job of slowly underming the NK regime through a selectively porous border but it's now looking like too little too late. The UN and the LoN before them have repeatedly shown themselves to be a useless talking shop. 'Do something or this'll happen' might be just what's needed.

Apparently if Obama said basically the same thing it was OK when he did it?

You missed the caveats Obama used to illustrate why actually destroying NK would be an exceptionally stupid idea. However what is exceptionally stupid to the rest of us is bigly great to The Moron-in-Chief.Apparently if Obama said basically the same thing it was OK when he did it?

The only time Trump has looked remotely presidential is when delivering a peach someone else has written and he doesn't go off script.Blimey, maybe he is starting to get good.
Unfortunately, this speech, whilst looking like it was written by someone intelligent for him, was polluted with Trumps own interventions, thus ruining the message the scriptwriter and administration was trying to put across.
Terrifying and delusional
