Because the government come to their senses, and decide that it's a fking stupid idea to shoot the country in the foot by leaving the EU.

We can but hope.

It'll almost certainly require May to be thoroughly shafted - probably by Boris - which'll then cause a vote of no confidence in Westminster, which'll then lead to ANOTHER general election. There's still time to get that all done before 2019.

Hot take on that: BoJo is gagging to resign.

Publicly he'll say it's all not happening fast enough, in reality, he's watching the whole thing fail, which it presently, clearly is & that leaves him as the white knight riding in to save Brexit. Hands up who thinks he's got the country's interests at heart?

Can you really not comprehend what a complete shambles the project already is? Do you not understand that the whole thing was essentially just political power games carried out by people who will be largely unaffected by the impending economic disaster that Brexit will bring?

Would you be one of those prisoners in a POW camp snitching on the other POW's to the Commandant just so you got the extra egg or bar of soap or a POW that was building the escape tunnel?

gilded cage.

Every day seems to bring news of another resignation by a key member of the exit team. We have no negotiators in place and the government is still split on what sort of Brexit to go for.

Boris never wanted to Leave, he just saw a chance for power. May wanted to Leave but thought Remain was a safer bet. When things went the other way she saw her chance and took it. But now she has to 'prove' what a strong Leaver she is (because apparently she was a Remainer) by pushing for thee hardest of HARD Brexits.

It is a bloody mess. And I don't need the media to tell me so.

The options are what I decide they are, thanks very much. And your arsey attitude now means the answer isn't happening.
That's the finest weasel dodge I think I've read on the internet, let alone PH ! You should complain ( again ) its a trap to ask you such questions....
Asking stupid questions mays you look stupid shocker.
It wasn't a stupid question and it eventually led to us having a decent discussion.

It wasn't a question though, It was Deptford demonstrating for the umpteenth time his raw hostility towards people with a differing outlook to him. So yes whilst you & I eventually broke bread, it's fair that he gets pulled on his general approach. What I'm saying in a nice way is he's a fking disgrace & that's why I generally ignore the hump. smile

You are so taken in by the mad media, that you are using the same headline writers style, you totally devalue anything you say by this manner of writing

I'm not denying any facts. I accept that as things stand we are leaving. I just think that the whole thing has been managed appallingly and will likely leave the country worse off than if we had stayed in the EU. That said, I really don't care that much about the EU, so don't try to paint me as a 'sad remoaner'.

But all that aside, what was the deal with that st about POW camps and gilded cages?

Makes sense, especially if you wonder about whether being seen to be sacked would carry more "white knight" points than actually resigning, when it comes to stabbing May in the back.
