Can you please tell me what Anglo Saxon Christian culture is?
Good question, but I doubt that you'll get a coherent answer.

There is a slightly scary website called Englisc Gateway (yes, spelled in that way) that some of the more ranty types here might feel right at home on, although some of the hatey mega-loons on there are very anti all that soppy Jesus nonsense and want to bring back Thor and Odin. Speaking for myself, I say screw all those dudes and think that we should pray and sacrifice (but mainly sacrifice, preferably in a very bloody manner) to God Ugg the primordial cave dude deity. All these Johnny come latelies like Jehovah and his slacker hippy son, and that parvenu Allah with his stabby friend Mohammed are rank amateurs compared to Ugg.

The only solution to PH is to stay out of NPE, as coming here just makes you depressed and/or astonished, but NPE is an addiction. I keep trying to stay in the car bits, but am drawn back to NPE by the Grand Guignol horribleness of it all. It is grimly fascinating to see just how hatey and dim people can be. I suppose that it's much the same as watching reality TV shows - sordid but fun.
Spot on. Yes, It's like a crack habit. It's great but also absolutely wasteful and awful. You describe it very well. I've got three tunes to mix today. I've been for a run, edited some bass, had some coffee and now I find myself here. Jesus!

Funny thing is, as an Irish Jew with a brother who converted to the Muslim faith to marry his Sudanese wife I must be the absolute worse thing some of the absolute fkwits on here could imagine. And yet, I pay my taxes like everybody else. Me, my brother and his wife had a nice drink last night, listening to the new LCD Soundsystem album, we smoked, we drank and made merry. The idea that there is this great monolithic thing called 'Muslim' - plenty here just haven't got the faintest fking idea what they are talking about. They could not possibly be more wrong. The level of ignorance is mindblowing. Just astonishing.

I too know what it's like to be the subject of racist abuse because some s set off bombs. I came to England in 1976 as a young child with a heavy accent. I remember it very well.

To pre-judge somebody on the basis of their place of birth, race or faith IS racist. That is exactly what racism is.

This thread has been a fking disgrace. An utter embarrassment.
Couldnt agree more - so much crap spouted in NPE - but keep getting drawn back to have a read- gave up a long time ago responding to posts on here, as its just become the same people who kept going on about the same BS and negativity about anyone who isnt of the right religion colour or creed of their liking.

These people will go blue in the face that they are not racist or prejudiced but are too thick to realise what being open minded actually means-

For most part NP&E had become a circle jerk session of inbred pricks who have nothing of value to contribute...yet ill be back for more punishment.

He certainly is.
Point of order if I may?

Calling somebody special in the year 2017 is akin to calling somebody a spastic in the 1990s.

You may want to address your own hate filled bile also.

No dog in this fight, reality as ever, is somewhere in the middle of NP&Es diametrically opposed views, probably.

However, quit the 'special' st please.

Have I been posting long enough to warrant an opinion I wonder?

Is this an attempt to use the argument what is culture? The idea that culture and social norms are in constant flux and change. And the perception of them are different to each individual so it doesn't exist so cant be destroyed or protected? The argument, if something cant be exactly defined and quantified it cannot exist?
No, I think he's just trying to find out if there is anything going on under the layers of Bacofoil or whether you're just a hatey numbskull posting up EDL pamphlets.

All indicators are the latter but the floor is yours so to speak.

Land bridge, channel, land bridge, channel - sea level up and down like a Dagenham bird's kecks on pay day, and Britain in and out (of Europe) like an Everton footballer in a VW Beetle.

History may yet repeat itself, as once the young people (whose grannies cheerfully voted to fk up all their grandchildren's futures) are old enough to hold office, the UK may be banging on the Eurodoor to be let back in. The EU will probably say "OK, we will get around to you once we have done with Serbia. In the meantime, just huddle around the camp fires and chin up, old fruits ".

I'm sorry if I've offended you, but I'm at a loss as to what the problem is. I thought you were saying that 'special' is an outdated word so I was pointing out that it is current.

I replied to a spurious post in a flippant manner, I think you're taking too much offence at both my (sort of) use of the word and the use of it by the poster I replied to. It was not serious.

For context, my mother has spent over 40 years volunteering at, and latterly as a governor of, a Special Needs school, while I volunteered there through much of my teenage years. So I don't really need a lecture on inclusivity, cheers.

You do need a lesson but are too stubborn to accept it.

Clue - spastic was a current word in the 90s but also hideously offensive in certain context. The same as special is now. It is not a difficult concept.

If your background is as you say then you should understand this more than others.

Do you seriously think you can undo offence by saying 'it was not serious'?

you can have a go at a proper apology if you like? Or you can continue being offensive for no reason towards people with special needs and their close family.

The whyohwhyohwhyers won't be persuaded by this, but for anyone who has an open or semi open mind, see -

http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion/demographi...

We are not being swamped by Muslims, or indeed by any other "foreigners". Note also that once people from the developing world settle in developed countries, after a generation or so they start having small families.

Take my lot - poor Irish migrants (Ireland was in the Third World until after it joined the EU) . My parents (born in the 1930s) each came from families of fourteen children. Their generation had two to five children per family (One exception - my oldest aunt did not migrate to the UK. She had fourteen children - seven died in infancy in what was then still a poor and backwards country) . My generation (born in the 60s and 70s) have one to three children per family, and so on. This pattern is replicated amongst everyone I know whose family originates from the Asian sub continent.
Disagree slightly. The evidence is it’s not just second or third generates which tend to have many less children, it’s even the new immigrants, and by the first generate it’s about the UK standard.

Those who disagree will immediately refer to the current UK birth rates which do show a great number of births for women likely to be of muslin decent (there are no statistics on religion of mothers so they rely on country of birth). However, this is just the let’s compare apples with oranges trick.

The fact is immigration at this level is a resent phenomenon so the average age of immigrants is much lower than the UK population. This means birth rates per immigrant will be higher than the UK population. Compare birth rates for the UK population of similar ages and rates are virtually identical.

This is obviously a big deal to you and realistically I don't think I'm going to make any headway with you, no matter how grovelling my apology might be.

If you think that this is the most offensive thing posted on this thread then I'm at a loss as to how to respond to you.

I had the misfortune to see that show in the West End because my wife was reviewing it. It was super mega uber rubbish. Even the presence of Gemma Arterton could not redeem it. I had to drink at least three J Sheekey Martinis to recover my composure.
