Where’s your personal line in the sand? Have you even got one? I dunno..and frankly I don’t give a toss..but the fact even the poster of the meme, himself anonymous, decided that he couldn’t claim it as his own creation but rather got it from another unnamed source on the internet speaks volumes.
There are many crass maddie memes but this thread was created to talk about whether more money should be spent on the search for maddie - not to post disrespectful jokes about the fate of the child - so I was disappointed to see it in here. Perhaps the Sean Connery thread would have been more appropriate.
And yes, maddie should be capitalised as Maddie, but it’s a forum on the internet, I’ll not be losing any sleep over it.

Wasn't the conclusion of the Portuguese Police investigation that the parents are in on it but they went back home to the UK so couldn't be investigated fully.The Scotland Yard investigation has seemingly been to investigate an abduction and not investigate a missing girl. So if one of the best police forces in the world has spent millions of pounds and years investigating the abduction and got precisely nowhere maybe they are investigating the wrong thing / suspects and their continued efforts should be broadened to allow other suspects and methods for the missing child

I can't see any logical reason why the Met continue to go down rabbit holes rather than confront the bleeding obvious, even if to once and for all put that line to bed.

No it wasn't.They are still investigating new suspects even as recently as last month. They have been no requests for the McCanns to return to Portugal to be interviewed as far as I'm aware.
