These pair of occasionally spotted around Leicester. How they can show their faces after what they did is beyond me. Appalling parents and it's angering how they haven't faced charges for child neglect.

Funding for Operation Grange will run out at the end of this month. The current total spend is around £11.6m and has been funded by Special Grant awards. Special Grant funding is usually available to police forces when they face significant or exceptional costs.

Today, the Home Office is considering a further Special Grant application from detectives to continue investigations into March 2019.

Christ, how on earth does this keep being extended? These compelling lines of enquiry that we were told (most recently last year) would reveal what happened to Maddy have just come up with nothing.

As expected, the detectives have asked for another 6 months funding.

Home office considering it now.

When will it end ?

Westminster seems fairly terrified of the McCann's for whatever reason, you'd think a decade would be enough, the even the Detectives must be bored of hanging out in the Algarve chasing their tails now.

I think it'll take a shift in PR, because the McCann's seem to still have a saint like glow to them, whereas...

How can this be printed and simply ignored? Why is nobody telling them to do one as they shouldn't have left the bloody kids in the first place. banghead

I can't understand how this seems to be overlooked.

The man carrying child was never confirmed.
Wasn't it one of their friends that supposedly saw this man ?

Genuinely LOL'd.

There is no reason to continue ploughing more money in to this unless...

the Met are not falling for the McCann version of events and the investigation has several co-dining suspects.
