Oh get a life.....no one is "crowing"....just saying it/he is a lost cause due to his mental mother.....as such the resulting action was required, regrettable but none the less required.........
I see that you are one of those who responds with anger and insult to views he does not agree with. Poor angry you.

The crowing is up above for all to see, and if you want to take a reading on the general ethics of PH, just read some threads. Weary commentary on the nasty-mindedness of some of our fellow car bores is not the same as petulant expressions of "go away, person who thinks differently to me!".

As to the ceremonious shooting by the child, you have personally viewed this ,right?
Have you?
It’s quite clear the child had been executing prisoners. Just one of the many abhorrent activities going in the death cult of Isis.

I understand and feel the pain of the people who mourn the death of this woman and her well adjusted son. Both of them could have made a valuable and lasting contribution to our country had they been allowed to surrender. Instead we have summary execution by someone who following orders killed them as if they were common terrorists.
I propose that a fund raising page be set up and that a memorial bench be erected in her memory. This would be best set in her adopted town of Chatham. An ideal spot for it would be outside the Pentagon shopping centre on Chatham High Street. It would be ideal if it was facing away from the shopping centre. That would be a lasting memorial to this bright woman. As she turned her back on our American influenced culture and trod her own path. Facing away from the American named shopping centre would make a silent dignified representation of her rejection of Western values.

Another angle, had the boy not been killed - and I think it's pretty bloody obvious he was radicalised, and likely a killer.

Say mummy was killed, and he wasn't, what are the odds that he wouldn't spend the rest of his days avenging her death?

Good riddance to evil trash I say.
How can a 12 year old boy who has been brain washed be "evil trash"?

Do you suppose that a 12 year old gets to be a murderer by accident? Or that he was born a murderer? The woman took the child off to the Islamofascists when he was some years younger than 12. The fact that he was turned into a murderer is part of the tragedy. He was another victim of the death cult. Terror armies in Africa have child soldiers - or slave soldiers to give them another name, and in WW2 Hitler youth members engaged in combat and committed atrocities. You can warp children to do terrible things if you get them young enough.

But BV you couldn't have got him out of that mindset. His own father and grandparents said as much.
He's gone and if his death makes a few others think about what they are getting into and to turn away then something positive will come from it.

You can definately dereadicalise people. There are numerous successful programs running in Africa and the Middle East helping former child soldiers and jihadists. Similar techniques are used with people that have been brainwashed in cults,

It usually involves forms of cognitive behaviour therapy, obviously it takes time though.

It’s not really a practical option in this child’s case but you can make people better who have adopted this kind of behaviour.

TBH this sounds like the woman on that C4 drama the other month.
All this talk about she was trying to get out and come home does rather raise the question of why not wait till she is back and arrest her like on the TV effort?
A nice feel good story would be dropping deadly gas on those people wrecking the history of the region.
We only got to look at footage of scumbags smashing stuff even though the coordinates of the various relics from history are well know.
You would at least get archeologists onside.
At last a voice of reason amongst the hawks of death. I'm totally with you bro. Nick her when she gets off the plane at Gatwick. Totally do-able and would show the world what a tolerant and good bunch of people we are. I like the idea of getting archaeologists onside. I'd never thought of that one myself. I can see how it would work though. Once the ISIS crowd were confronted with a bunch of archaeologists explaining about their history and heritage to them it would change their minds. No doubt in my mind they would put down the rifles and pick up a hand trowel and one of those little brushes they use and start checking out all the old stuff.

I suppose it’s that the shooter is also in the war zone or in some danger also. These drone operators are killing jihadists and then leaving the porocabin and driving home. It’s a very odd remote warfare.

The psychological effects of this kind of warfare must be quite significant for both sides.

The targets and surrounding civilians are in permanent fear of bombs and missiles from an unseen enemy circling overhead.

The drone operator isn’t in a war zone with others having a shared experience. They dip in and out of the war zone remotely and then are suddenly in peacetime when they leave the building in Vegas or wherever it is.

You presumably could be at home having dinner with your family minutes after dropping bombs on a wedding in Afghanistan.

The drone is effective at killing people with minimal risk to the operator but I’m not sure it’s winning hearts and minds, if that’s the aim.

This film "Eye in the Sky" did not get the recognition that it deserved - a tense examination of the ethics of drone warfare. Intelligent script, strong cast, well made, and well worth a watch

Anyone seen ‘National bird’ on Netflix? Aparently it’s another good drone documentary/movie.

Glad she's been wiped out. It's a shame about the boy but it seems unlikely he could have ever returned to a 'normal' life, even if he hadn't killed. As it was, he lived and died by the sword so to speak.

...
As pointed out above de-radicalisation programs do have some success. Brainwashed people can be reverse brainwashed. The boy did not live by the sword - he was abused by adults and made into a weapon for their ideology.

Maybe you could have taken him in, I'm sure it would be delightful to return home from work one day to find him holding your grandchild's head aloft and your pet rabbit on his cock.

I would happily invite the dude over to my place, but, some snags -

(a) He's dead.
(b) If he can get past that minor technicality, he will have to wait a bit for my grandchild as my daughter is only 13 and doesn't live in Croydon.
(c) I cooked the rabbit with Dijon mustard. It was yummy.

I would say that with a 12 year old child it worth always be worth a try, although the debate here is academic as the boy was with his mother when she was killed, and so he was killed too. I am simply countering those who say that he needed to be killed as well because he was himself culpable or was a lost cause. I see him as a hapless victim of wrongdoing by his mother and her associates.

More happiness & unicorns

I agree 100% with the above.
Sadly, the mad Mother sentenced her Son...........what a dreadful legacy

Once "the Western Developed Countries" get to a point where we can suspend our normal morals, god help those (or ourselves) if we are on the end on the methods and weapons we have the capability of inventing/using.
