Very good.

Looking forward to Alec Salmond trial now.

Let's hope he doesnt squirm his way out of it the fat fish.

Still, on the bright side, he can look forward to an Oscar for his acting with that zimmer frame.
Who will play him in the film?
Lary's agent from Curb?

That storyline is close to the bone right now, the bits where everyone keeps thinking he's Weinstein are amazing

When I saw episode one of the new season I thought "Oh god he looks a lot like Harvey Weinstein" right before this scene.

They will appeal this without a doubt. Now some of the reporting restrictions have been listed, one of the jurors wrote a book so close to what has happened that they tried to disbar her, however they had used up every objection they could raise so the judge allowed her to be on the jury.

She hardly seems unbiased from what she has written.

Will be interesting how this pans out now as the US system clearly is different to ours and if other allegations are now tried elsewhere.

I have a feeling this is far from over

It's perfectly feasible for a juror to hold views contrary to those of the defendant or opposed to the alleged offence and still deliver a fair verdict. See the Roger Stone case.

Well, if he really does have a vagina (where did his kids come from?) at least he'll have an income stream in prison.

They really won’t.

Guilty of rape and sexual assault. How long do we think he will get?

Here’s what he faces:

“Sentencing guidelines for those charges:

Probation to four years in prison for rape in the third degree.

At least five years in prison for criminal sexual act in the first degree“[/quoting] I predict no jail long probation big fine but no hard time

It makes me laugh every time I see him walking into court with that stupid Zimmer frame. Does he really think anyone is buying that charade? Presumably going for sympathy and hoping for a bit of leniency? dhead.

You are of course correct but the probability of that being the case will be one of the reasons his defence use for an appeal. The fact he was found not guilty on the more serious charges suggests they were not convinced what others were saying were true or they had reasonable doubt.

The appeal will not have to deal with the sensationalist nature of how he looks etc. it will look at anything they can use to get a new trial

justice.

Oh he still has charges to face in Los Angeles. An important difference in the L.A complaints is that the alleged victims didn’t continue to communicate with him afterwards. His defence in NY used this to create doubt.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/24/us/harvey-weinstein...

All the effort to silence everyone and plant spies into their lives to dig up info may come to haunt him in the L.A trial.

It didn’t work for Cosby (blind and disheveled. How about crippled and disheveled.

Rushed to hospital instead of prison, due to suffering chest pains on the way

Check out the video of the somewhat distinctive foreman of the jury being harassed by the media after leaving the courthouse, that's embedded half way down that report!
