Check out the video of the somewhat distinctive foreman of the jury being harassed by the media after leaving the courthouse, that's embedded half way down that report!
I guess clutching your chest and saying your arm is tingling buys you a few hours more before you have to hear that cell door slam shut in Rikers Island.

Really? Persistent sex offender who has shown no remorse, and would likely have carried on if not caught.

I think the maximum was nearly 30 years but his lawyers were seeking discount based on health, age and contribution to the film industry. Their ploy seemed to have worked to an extent, however their client will not likely see the light of day again.

He was found not guilty of more charges than he was found guilty of.

There was no physical evidence and it was just who the jury believed more.

So yes, it seems high to me.

If only you'd sent in your evidence then... You know... The stuff that leads you to believe the abuse was actually pretty minor stuff.

You could have prevented a travesty of justice.

Did you imagine what I wrote or something?

It's my opinion. It doesn't have to agree with yours. Sorry about that.

yes, for sure.

Ian Watkins only got a few more years for literally raping babies and pissing on underage girls.

with his legal team I was expecting ~10 years

Good.

It’s sending quite a message, which I read as:

Don’t use your power, money and influence to spend decades sexually harassing women.

Comparing sentencing from different countries is of absolutely no use.

Different countries = different sentences.

Well at least he's on the safe side until he dies. Unless he gets a cell with bars wide enough to get a folded chair through.
