I seem to remember some reporter going mad like that in an interview but can't for the life of me remember exactly what it was.
I think you are referring to John Sweeney's documentary on Scientology. He was played like a top by Tommy Davis (a spokesperson of the Church of Scientology) until he cracked.bhstewie said:

Honestly what a cock, I know you never know if his wife had just text him to say she was leaving him or something terrible but it does make you wonder how people get themselves into that level of fury
He ranted and screamed because he could. No one did anything to make him think it was a bad idea speak to a woman like that.Honestly what a cock, I know you never know if his wife had just text him to say she was leaving him or something terrible but it does make you wonder how people get themselves into that level of fury

It's easy to say that now but in that situation you have no idea if the guy has a knife or weapon, how far he will take it, if anyone else will help you. And countless news stories have put people off intervening as it seems that often the police will arrest the wrong person with no common sense shown. People do not have intimate knowledge of the law about self defense etc. If someone stepped up and tried to shut the guy up and it ended with shouting man getting a smack in the mouth or worse, would you bet money on the intervening Samaritan escaping a criminal record, punishment, prison? I wouldn't, and wouldn't risk my career and ability to provide for my family, to stop someone getting shouted at.
One way to counter nervousness about good citizenship is to rebut myth such as this. The law about self defence is simple and clear, and people should not buy into media myths about it. Your chances of getting into legal trouble for acting as a good samaritan are not high.On a separate point - as well as "you shouldn't speak to a woman like that", couldn't we also say "you shouldn't speak to a person like that". The gender of the person being yelled at ought to be irrelevant. The bloke's behaviour was terrible, regardless of his target.

La Liga and Breadvan are obviously right in terms of the legal perspective.
However the correct answer is to set a northerner on him as in the video or as in this incident earlier this year... http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-new...

The blokes a fking lunatic, i guarantee that not many people in the real world would step in. He is totally unhinged.
Of course if he was on a train with a few ph members he would have got his head kicked in (prior to them reporting him to the police first).
To be fair she wasn't shy in arguing back.
