I was a site engineer on canvey for a couple of years. Stayed on site as semi-security.

My God. Piss heads walking on site asking for work. s nicking stuff so often that we ended up storing drain covers etc on the portacabin roofs. s coming in and using our compound to burn the sheathing off stolen railway cable. Mud. Unexploded bombs. Traffic. Maybe 4 adult teeth on the entire island. And considering I was working in fields, I never saw a single rabbit on the entire island. That's just plain weird.

Like Jaywick, it is somewhere that needs bricking up and floating out in to the sea.

Will that make them Feelgood?
Oil City Confidential was a good watch, I was always a Dr Feelgood fan.

Yup, top band, and good old Wilko still strutting on stage.
Bass player from Culture Club.
Eddy and the Hotrods.
Wilko's current bass player is (I believe) Norman Watt-Roy, ex Blockheads and a superb musician.

Good to see Wilko still doing the rounds after his illness especially his stuff with Roger Daltrey.

I always take comfort knowing the place was due a direct hit if things ever went nuclear.

Hopefully the device will overshoot and land smack bang in the middle of the stehole directly west of CI.

But then they wouldn't be travellers.
They will be if we severe all the bridges to it and then it can float off into the North Sea biggrin
