You appear to have a view of the whole continent based on stereotyping. There are parts of Africa that don't have a big Aids problem, don't have warfare, and have stable governments. Also, why assume that a whole continent could never change?

I didn't . I was an upholsterer for 10 years and decided to do something better with my life so funded my own uni degree and teacher training at the age of 30 with a family. Not easy and not a hand out from anyone, nor the government. My wife was very supportive though.
