Following on from last year's thread, it's about time to start one for this winter. Ive just cleaned the panda ready for the winter but this is how it looked beforehand

Had the 67 plate from 3rd Sep. I have done 2500 mi, it's covered in road crud. Now, do I get it washed and valeted pre winter, or do I let it get absolutely ludicrously filthily and not wash it until March?

I drove my Focus to Belgium and back two weeks ago. It must have some weird coating as it steadfastly refuses to get dirty.

I'm probably going to give my lot a proper cleaning this month and then that's it until spring.

Nope, can't do it.

Washed by hand once a week generally, once every two weeks max.

I will be checking in at some point soon with my dirty shed. I do much less mileage now though, so much less chance of mega dirt like previous years.

My 64 plate Merc gets washed at service time, so the last time was in March. Last week it was sat beneath a bird toilet in a hotel car park and now looks worse than it ever has.

Car’s going back a month today and I’m torn if I should get my local hand washers involved or not.

Probably just leave it...

Unbelievable. The panda got covered, and I mean covered in bird crap today.

I've had a mulligan and given its another wash tonight!

I washed my daily a couple of weeks ago for the first time since....April? and already it looks the same as after around 5 months of summer weather. I'm tempted to just leave it until I can't bear it again (obviously cleaning the windows, lights and plates as needed)

Doesn't seem to be the love for dirty Cars this year compared to last year. I'll give it another bump tho.

Here's mine currently. Much better than the Volvo from last winter.

Here's my contribution. 4 days of commuting down country lanes, the joys of living in the sticks. I've been slow sorting my new daily driver lease car so still using this as a daily!
