Ministers found to have lied will be expected to tender their resignation - that's part of the ministerial code that she has signed.

I assume that she will be looking in her handbag for a first class stamp as we speak. Or do you think there may be some "excuse"?

SD.
I think you'll fine that there will be an inquiry and it will transpire to be a "non-material breach of the Code"...... wink

The ministerial code will be ignored. Even when ministers have been caught with their hand in the till (dodgy procurement, etc), breaking the law, or whatever, they'll ignore it.

Ultimately, what is "expected" requires moral behaviour on the part of the MP in question. It's absent, so you can safely ignore precedents that have a moral basis.

Is it bad that I just want her to spit on me and tell me she hates me for being a poor Northerner?

So all asylum seekers should have a private room with en-suite? Sounds good, where are they?

I hear that recently hotels have been quite quiet for the last year or so

Maybe instead of paying furlough money to the hotel chains hmg could have done a deal with a few hotel chains

They already did... £4 billion over 10 years...Trouble is demand outstripped supply. Not all hotels are due for a refurb in the next couple of years and can risk taking them in.

No.

But that would mean "we didn't follow the guidance from PHE in every single way".

This is about telling the truth to Parliament.

Funny how it's fine to boo them then it's all about wanting to jump on the success.

As some wag replied to one or her tweets,

If football comes home she’d end up deporting it.

I hope England goes all the way because I want to hear (some) "supporters" boo their own team before a major final. laugh

They are booing the England players for taking the knee.

FA Statement:

"They are doing this as a mechanism of peacefully protesting against discrimination, injustice and inequality. This is personally important to the players and the values the team collectively represents."

Yes, but why are they booing it? Has anybody actually found out?

Is it because they are racist? Because they don’t believe in the political group that spawned it? Or some other reason?

Because they believe it's a load of woke nonsense. Hijacked by BLM, a group who believe the world is run by white supremacists, oppressing all blacks people. Maybe the boo because most footballers are too thick to even know why they are kneeling

Ah yes the footballers and the manager who have explained numerous times quite eloquently why they're doing it v the "fans" who having listened to the numerous explanations believe they know better.

Then you have the politicians like Patel and Johnson who simply seek to use it to whatever advantage they think they can spin it so a few weeks ago it was fine to boo the players now we should all get behind them.

And the footballers are the ignorant ones.

Righto.

The best bit about the whole kneeling booing thing is the more the fans boo the more united the team will be in response
