So far-right and ultranationalist British political motivation rather than Brexit?

A history of mental illness and extremist views are a toxic cocktail that, tragically, Jo Cox fell foul of.
Both sides in the campaign agreed to suspend campaigning for a period - well they did in theory, but the Guardian thought it was above that sort of thing and decided to use the murder for political gain. It's editorial on the matter, coupled with the piece by Toynbee are two of the reasons that I finally decided to vote for Brexit.

I am disappointed that BV72 has not had the decency to retract his obvious misreading of my post. I am however not surprised that MX5nut has adopted his usual "little Sir Echo" approach to the thread - it's clear that he doesn't really understand what is being said but contents himself by yapping like an enthusiastic puppy when the more clever folk speak.

But then again, perhaps if the tragic murder of Jo Cox had not been shamelessly manipulated by the Remain camp the vote to leave might have been overwhelming. We will never know.
Wow. Just Wow. Jo Cox was murdered by a far right leaver, and a PH leaver twists that event to blame the remain camp. There really are no depths to which leavers will not descend.
If I recall correctly, it wasn't the Leave side politicising her death within 24 hours of it happening.
Too busy enjoying their success "without a shot being fired"...

Classy.

And there you go again, after showing that you have no idea about immigration and where it comes from, you are back with another idiotic assertion about the level of education. Quite clearly not in a position to judge that
Another judgemental and derogatory comment clearly uncalled for. Do you ever read back your posts?, are you aware you come across as such an evil vindictive and self righteous individual?.

I bet you are the type of person that all the neighbours think is a "weirdo" and you have very few friends, if any!. yes

Keep handing out personal attacks and you will just keeping getting them handed back. Far better sticking to sensible debate than constantly slinging abuse.

What is the point of this thread....?

Are people actually going to discuss the EU negotiations like adults, or continue to act like primary school infants?

Can I say that just because the talks don't see to be going very well it does not mean leaving was a bad idea and does not mean the UK can't make it a success.

Having heard more about what junker et all want the EU to become- EU army etc I a even more convinced out is right, regardless of the noise in the uk press.

And, like most leavers including garage we never wanted no immigration, just the control over who we let in. Even ed milliband said an Australian points based system was a good idea before the vote.

It's also annoying that labour and the press are turning it into a tory issue. It isnt: We all had the chance to vote. Politicians let us, and promised to do as we wished.

I'll let you argue with yourself.

Rich, nobody is surprised that you got your facts wrong.
No .YOU got your facts wrong.
Rich_W said on saturday page 127 standard page size said:
Oh well. My facts are wrong. How terrible for me. I went off of a differnet link though. (telegraph) Only in sept 16 did EU overtake ROW
As I said, you are deliciously simple.

Rich_W said:
Because you deliberately chose an incomplete "fullfact" chart (You do know that fullfact couldn't get charity status when they first started because they were deemed too political. They have it now because apparently they "changed" laugh ) The Telegraphs article went to the end of 2016
The chart is from ONS and covers the period to June 2017. Again, given it's you, it's unsurprising that you are can't figure that out.

For the same reason that you are competing with immigrants who can't speak a word of English.
Ah, but as ever with an ignorant like you. You read what you want to read. Not what was said.

Let me explain it to you. In my trade. Some at the top are managers with Hons degrees. There's people like me in the middle with internationally recognised Engineering qualifications. And the ones at the bottom are EE migrants with no command of the English Language. Guess what? I have to interact with them multiple times on a daily basis. I'm not competing with them for a job. laugh
I'll just leave the bold part out there. smile

Rich_W said:
In actual fact I'm pretty well insulated for EE competition for my job. I didn't vote Leave for my own selfish reasons. I will be eligible to go and work in the EU on merit (unlike you and ajd who need FOM to give you as leg up over more qualified nonEu migrants laugh ) I voted because it was the right thing to do for the future of the country! for the record I didn't vote Leave due to a red Bus or Farages poster.
Merit? As for you working in EU, maybe try to escape Croydon first? Baby steps and all that.
If I live in Finland, as you stated, why would I need FOM to give me 'leg up over' over anyone?

You are making this way too easy.

Rich_W said:
I don't believe you ever lived in that road. You lie constantly. Why should anyone believe a damn word you say?
'on that road' not 'in'.

If I lie constantly, you should be able to quote any of my lies. The fact that you think that someone would lie about living in Croydon (which at the time was very convenient for the Lunar house) says quite a lot about you. Whatever happens, when you log off, you'll still be forced to live in a sthole, that normal people manage to get out of within few months.

Rich_W said:
Clearly I'm more educated.
Evidence would suggests otherwise.

Rich_W said:
I have every idea about Immigration but from your bolt hole in Finland. You don't see it. Its simple. Since 1997 there was an increase in immigrants coming to the UK to work and live. "To make a better life for themselves in the UK" Over time the type of migrant has changed. And now the vast majority are (despite your wishful protestations) not degree educated individuals heading for decent jobs. But those coming to work nmw jobs and then send money home, probably themselves in time. Have you ever considered why prior to 1997 very few people in the UK cared about immigration? Why no one cared that a German family had moved in next door? We were non plussed about that Korean family down the street who ran a take away?
As I believe the UK is very meritocratic, you are where you are because of who you are. Not because of immigration. And that is not going to change anytime soon. Enjoy Croydon.
