I don't blame the EU.

I blame numerous historic UK Governments of all colours misleading and not informing the UK electorate of what they were doing. This was being done all the way to 23 June 2016.
I’d side with this too.

Why were we not given votes on all the key EU decisions which stripped away our sovereignty beyond the common trade area.

We signed up for a trading block NOT a political union nor tax harmonisation.

It will be very interesting IF the EU propose that we end up with a worse situation than Turkey... that would be telling indeed

Note the future tense in that last point. I appreciate there hasn't always been index linking in operation.

Like a referendum you mean?

No, I believe power is delegated to their respective governments and agreed by the respective heads of government at an EU meeting a few weeks ago.
So now you trust these heads of governments , the governments
that you dislike and mistrust so much, to the extent that you refuse to
vote for?

How do you deduce that?

I commented on the process.

You can't have a strong economy outside the EU without sovereignty
and if the EU want to shoot the peoples of Europe in the foot well
we will just have to wait and see if the 27 agree to have there feet shot
just so the EU gravy train can limp on a bit longer wink
And yet nobody, not even the leave campaign, has predicted our economy will be stronger outside the EU than within.

Oh, except you.
Outside the drag of the EU How do you know we won't do better ?but its not quite what I said ...

Do you trust the process that the governments you don't trust, are involved in?

Drag of the EU?

If that's the case how come all the projections obtained by the government and Khan show the UK economy worse off that it would have been had we remained?

There have actually been a number of people that have said the UK economy can be stronger outside the EU in the longer term after some short term lower growth.

Because they are short term projections and tend to ignore any upsides. I'm unsure what Khan is.

Didn't Khan's reports project the next 10 years?

The methodology used in those reports is garbage.

The latest reports aren't even completed yet and were released as uncompleted work in progress.

Oh him. My utter contempt for that man is only slightly below that for Blair and Brown.

Plenty of Londoners feel utter contempt for Khan, and surprisingly the reasons for the feelings have nothing to do with Brexit.

Back to Remainer ignorance.

At the time of the election.......... Things change

Oh and one of the other candidates was Zac Goldsmith - FFS I'd vote for Kahn rather than that slimeball

If those were the options, I think I'd be forced to abstain.

Back to brexiteer ignorance.
The voting majority may well support Khan in his stance on Brexit but some feel utter contempt for Khan in his failings in other areas of his position as Mayor of London.

Back to Remainer ignorance and what Khan's responsiblities are as London Mayor, it's not exclusively opposing Brexit.

There were other options on the ballot - but from memory all the others lost their deposits so not much support there then
