Trump inherited a decent economy from Obama - if he can keep things ticking over until 2020 he’ll have a great chance to win again and the “next US President” will have to wait until 2024 when it really will be too late for the likes of Biden, Hillary and Bernie.

Biden is already 75, hc won't run again, sanders is 76.

There must be younger democrats with some appeal...

A Biden/Warren ticket doesn't seem impossible provided they keep injecting him with monkey gland extract or whatever it is that's keeping him 'sprightly'. hehe

450/1 currently (betfair) but that's for 2020 elections, expect 2024 odds to be significantly lower

One or all of the Kardashians shirley (is there a Shirley Kardashian and did the blessed Obama get round to sanctifying a POTUS job share option?).

Oprah could do it easily IMO. The main problem wouldn't be winning general elections but primaries, a lot of career politicians from DNC are waiting for their turn and she doesn't have much experience fighting against dirty opponents...

Trump vs Hillary round 2? hurl

Hillary Clinton leaves door open for 2020 run: 'I'd like to be president

Hillary said:
There’s going to be so much work to be done after a Democrat hopefully wins the next presidential election.

The work would be work that I feel very well prepared for having been in the Senate for eight years, having been a diplomat in the State Department.

we don't know if Trump himself even wants to run in 2020

He' played a lot of golf over the last two years, but not nearly as much as he would like

Clinton has too much baggage. With any luck Trump will be too busy tied up in court cases by Mueller to have time to run. There are plenty of dems who have potential and are willing to talk about it, although few have much name recognition as far as I can see; Eric Holder, the mayor of LA, Kamala Harris, that loon Avenatti seem like the most prominent but it's rather early for setting a running order.

Hillary and her cheerleaders in the media and celebrity circles think so. Joe Public think not again.

well she can stand, but I don't see the superpacs backing her, she was ill-equipped for what seemed like a slamdunk.
they need someone far cannier.

of course the whole system in the DNC is rotten to the core
