I wonder if the Democrats think that the Republicans will have forgotten all of this underhand skulduggery when the next Democrat gets elected to the oval office. They are damaging the office, probably permanently.
I very good point so very well made.Thank the lords there are sensible people like you around to offer "balance"

I'm thinking it might be Warren rather than Joe but either way we are certainly in an upside-down world where Biden is supposed to be dodgy alongside the admitted serial sexual abuser who actually has the job now. It's absolute lunacy.

Underhand - acting or done in a secret or dishonest waySkullduggery - underhand, unscrupulous, or dishonest behaviour or activities
Nope, neither of those things. Trumps call to the Ukrainian president though fits your words perfectly.

Bloomberg joins the race.
“Billionaire former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has signalled he will join the race to secure the Democratic Party's nomination for US president.”

It made the point that the republicans are essentially crap at coming up with new ides or being the first adopting them, but if they see them work, they run with them and turn them up to 11.
It quoted three examples, two of which I forget, much to my annoyance, but the third was the democrat use of facebook in the 2012 election, and the republican all out use of cambridge analytica in 2016 as a response.
The thinking points were Kavanaugh and impeachment, and 'do you really expect the republicans not to weaponize this'?
You can argue as much as you'd like over who is to blame, but the next democrat president will likely face impeachment as a matter of course.
