Not according to the constitutional expert that was the dems star witness, he said the oresident is not impeached until the report reaches the senate, something the dems seem reluctant to do in case a fair trial highlights their own shady goings on.
That seems like debatable semantics to me, but nonetheless I'd suggest they're not witholding it because of "shady goings on" but because the President/McConnell are preventing any actual witnesses from cooperating/agreeing a reasonable trial structure. But then you already know that, don't you - I just remembered your posting style.

As you were.

Going back to actual reality for a moment, I really like Andrew Yang as a candidate. I hope he gains a bit more traction in the media because his enthusiasm is very infectious.

rofl So Moscow Mitch holding a press conference about how the fix is in and there won't be any kind of actual trial, just an expedited reading of the articles followed by a vote, was 'Fake Nooz!'?

There are no words really.

I’m curious, NN, where do you get your information about this stuff? A lot of what you say is seriously eccentric…

Have you been watching Bongino again?

Interesting watching Yang's traction gain over the past year. From virtually nowhere to constantly leading in the second tier, big fund gathering recently and online support. His own policy seems to be distinct from his running mates, doesn't attack the internal or external opposition but just looks forward; although I'm not sure the US is ready for UBI yet. Good interview with him on Rolling Stone where he is quite happy to say things are 'fked up'.

Given the likes of Biden wittering on about getting people jobs as coal miners it's not hard to see why Yang is making hay in the fund-raising stakes.

A good bloke, I'm just not sure America is far left enough to elect him, interesting policies but maybe too nice to take on Trump

I hope Bernie doesn't get the nomination as I really don't think he can win over the people on the fence who voted Trump last time

Agreed. And it’s the fence sitters that will make all the difference.

The fence sitters went to Trump because of their dislike of Hillary, and Russian BS in Facebook. Sanders is popular across a wide demographic, and of course, anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together has seen what Trump is like over the last 3 years.
Recent polls(the NYT excepted) pretty much have both Biden and Sanders ,and most other Dens, beating Trump.
Bernie will be best for Americans
