Because so many people download or share an artists material for free... they have to milk their tours for the income. That’s why Prince and the like have given their albums away for free.

By the way, I also find PK’s stand up unfunny, but I love home in his acting roles. smile

I think it was Iron Maidens last tour were they made a determined effort to make sure no tickets got sold on and I think they succeeded, their manager is a self confessed tight Yorkshireman!

This is a report about the success of Irons Maidens ticketing for their last tour compared to their 2011 tour.

'Ticketmaster are providing the technology to make paperless ticketing possible - despite having a slice of the secondary market via their ownership of Get Me In!.'

Made me smile....

I've never found him funny, when I heard the news I thought maybe he’d been shown one of his live shows on dvd and decided to pack in.
Clearly it takes one to know one...

He isn't funny.

Maybe figured out he had enough money.

In your (and, yes, some others) opinion.

I agree, everyone is different. I mean some people find Mrs Brown's Boys funny. Good job we are all different.

Wonder if anything can be read into the fact that his wife was made a director of the company only 2 weeks ago.

If he is turning to booze or has been or will be crazy articles like the Mirror could drive him and others into falling down the rabbit hole.

Drinking is a big issue, the daemon in the bottle is very hard to get rid. People suffering from that illness need help and support - the hard bit is they will be vile to anyone trying to help them, but that’s because they cannot accept the horrible truth.

How is that any different to his usual stuff? Was he "pissed" on Parkinson?

Isn't it sad that the public feel they have a right to know why?

I had tickets booked and am disappointed to not be able to see him live but the statement he made asked for his families privacy to be respected, why are people so incapable of doing so?

What is to be gained by knowing? Not a single thing. I just hope whatever the problems they are able to be sorted out in due course, speculation is nonsense.

I did. Thought it looked bizarre but haven't seen him interviewed before so wasn't sure if it was normal for him.

It is absolutely normal for him - he likes to be silly in interviews and distract the interviewer.

He acted in a very similar manner the last time he was on Jonathan Ross's show, a few years ago - https://youtu.be/uL7sAQ4lwRI
