Well, that is twice in as many years that Welshy has written a post about a Porsche that I've immediately thought - "That's total bks"
Even if you don't know - common sense tells you - the T&C's will protect both the charity and the bidder.
Exactly that’s my point - some posters seemed to think hey it’s charity doesn’t matter if the charity auction gives you nothing is with a situation like this regardless of the massive sums involved simply suck it up. Even if you don't know - common sense tells you - the T&C's will protect both the charity and the bidder.
Whatever they've actually bought is practically immaterial.

Pretty much, Welshy, think of all those threads you used to start about expensive bottles of wine going in stews, imaginary cars you were getting etc. That warm fuzzy feeling you got inside imagining all the internets basking in your glory? That's why they do it...
Remember I won thread of the year back in what was it 2008 or 2009... say no more. Welshbeef said:

Yes, but remember they were laughing at you, not with you...........I really find it difficult to believe that someone as thick as Welsh is a finance director. Although self-awareness was never crucial for financial acumen I suppose.

I remember the debates back then arguing about labour and the 2005 general election.
