Coolhands - for someone with a lot of experience, stop digging your making yourself look like an utter tool.

"I know someone that was alive the other week" would be a cracking start to his eulogy.

Shame to hear about the cancellations in general, especially for those who have potentially lost large amounts of money but there really are more important things in life.

Thanks for that, can't get it work! What's been done different? Edited the original post now as the best I could get it to do was underline the whole sentence.

Bad habit of always thinking I am right and an annoying ability to keep digging a big fk off hole to fall into.

Yes that's clear, I just wondered if the reseller sites had some sort of refund system in their process. Touts / quick buck chancers obviously won't.

Lot of people will have learnt a very expensive lesson, if it puts the resellers out of business, excellent.
For the recent Haye-Bellew fight, the resellers refused to give refunds stating not eligible as it was 'postponed' rather than cancelled.

So based on that, I imagine the larger firms will be giving refunds for this cancellation.

Yeah, I read one tweet, sold my tickets, got refund from Ticketmaster, 1 grand profit, yay. Bar stewards.

Read another, claiming had paid two grand for 40 quid tickets. Holy cow.
Plenty available on Ebay with buy it now of £345.
Could be worth a speculative punt.

Pink, 16% of tickets offered to the general public...

Justin Bieber, 7%
Taylor Swift, 15%

You basically stand very little chance at the face value.

I stumbled on this in my local library a couple of years ago - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ticket-Masters-Josh-Baron... - well worth a read. Explains, in layman's terms, how things got to the state they're in now. From memory, I think it covers the rise of the bots, but it was written in 2011, so a few years out of date.
