Out of many bizarre or horrific RTCs that happened when living in the UAE, one stuck in my mind for the sheer denial of it all.

Al Ain, woman driving a Land Crusier, her four kids, she's texting, hits a roundabout doing 50 mph, car rolls with kids ejected or thrown around inside, as was she because no one was strapped in. All die at the scene. Husband goes on record asking why god did this to him.

Apparently it was a test to make him a better person.

Nothing to do with the dumb wife.

Morons.

A friend of my girlfriend was involved in a proposed hospital half way between Abu Dhabi and Dubai due to the number of accidents on the road and the delay in victims getting treatment due to the remoteness of it.

She criticised the lack of a pediatric unit, her pleas were ignored, the explanation was simple: ‘parents don’t make their children wear seat belts, they always die so there’s no point setting up a treatment centre’

A brave lady, especially as posting in her own name. Perhaps it shows that her views are widespread, just not amongst those who choose to post about this. Let's hope so.
yes

However look at the ‘croozing’ forums when some chav smacks their car into a tree. You rarely read ‘shouldn’t have driven like a tt’.

Just recalled a few months ago I saw a young chap fitting the stereotype smash his Golf R on a roundabout near Selly Oak.

Fortunately it was a single vehicle incident, but it takes a special sort of incompetence to crash a 4wd Golf on a perfectly dry day all by yourself.

Watch for the crafty bus lanes (if you cross the line you pay the fine- as the wonderful council advertise)
Watch for the poor signs
Watch for the crap driving
Main roads are covered in average speed cameras and varying (but poorly posted) speed limits

Sure you can’t get the train? hehe

fked it up. Badly.

If the bloke in the background is the driver, he doesn't fit the expected demographic.

Hit a curb hard is my best guess.

It'd be a bugger if a future potential buyer of KT16 LLP spotted this, wouldn't it?

He was a bystander, the driver was a young Pakistani (I'm fairly certain) lad if that matters.
I heard the crash happen, it was an almighty bang. My guess is he understeered joining the roundabout far to quickly and smashed the wheel on the inside of the roundabout.

He should kerb his driving behaviour (I don't care really I just needed to restore the curb / kerb balance.....)

I think it may have been. KT16 LLP certainly comes back as being on a white Golf R.

Lol, you guys don’t work in SEO do you? Google is more likely to penalise the page ranking for keyword stuffing the more you mention it.

Slightly more worryingly, it also implies God had it all set out anyway so it doesnt matter what you do.....it was his plan.

I think one comment was along the lines of "odd how Allah planned it this way" - as if the family and friends sit around after this with puzzled faces like you might have if your boss got rid of the coffee machine at work without telling you why.
What a warped and twisted religion. How does this have any place in a supposedly modern and civilised society?!

So it’s probably at a point now where Google won’t show this page because of the amount of times it’s been mentioned. Google ain’t thick.
