Now we are leaving i think the reality scares the living bejeasus out of the likes of him and banks hence the back peddling this week.
The main parties will throw him under the bus of public opinion so fast in the event of the EU playing hard ball with the deal.

There are contemporary witness accounts of Farage as a youth at Dulwich displaying clear fascist tendencies, but obviously that was a very long time ago, and people can change.An effective classical fascist would be all about ruthless party discipline, the acquisition and retention of sufficient political power to effect economic control and thence suppression of any effective opposition.
Farage and UKIP on the other hand are an amalgam of the Muppet Show, the Underpant Gnomes and Herpes. Clueless, at times hilarious, but fundamentally quite nasty and difficult to completely get rid of.
