I am honest in all my dealings.
If I needed legal representation I would expect them to do their utmost to uphold my 'possibly dishonest' case. Is that not what they are paid for?
They wouldn't be lying if the information you give them is the truth.
but even if they are aware I am lying they would still represent me in court and try and argue I was telling the truth.
No?

Yes, This.

He can give some superb examples of how Barristers and Lawyers excel at misrepresenting, skew words, divert from statements, re-word into lies, bend facts as well as a list of insults and assumptions (some in Latin), all from links to his own posts smile

What exactly are you trying to say with this?
That your blind faith is rose tinted.
Well all your link proves is that lawyers who step outside of the rules do in fact get sanctioned.

Sorry. didn't mean to imply lawyers were corrupt.
Just that their job was to lie.
What they each choose to do is one thing.

What the actual job definition is, is the complete opposite of your description.
I thought an advocate was by definition paid to advocate, no?

A LOT of them, and I admire the blind faith they are all caught. That would fly in the face of all statistics of criminal activity/catch rates.

What are the duties and obligations of a barrister?

Barristers have ten Core Duties that they are required to follow at all times. These are contained in the BSB Handbook. They are:

1. To observe their duty to the court in the administration of justice

- This is the most important duty of a barrister in that it overrides all of the others. It means that a barrister must not mislead or lie to the court, must not abuse their role, must not waste the court's time and must try to make sure that the court has all the relevant information it needs. A barrister's duty to the court does not require them to breach the duty of confidentiality that they have to their client (see Core Duty 6 below).

2. To act in the best interests of each client

- A barrister that is working for you must always be thinking about what is best for you, and do his job in a way that reflects that. This does not mean that a barrister can lie on your behalf, or that they must do everything you tell them. Their duty to the court comes above even their duty to you as their client. This means that they cannot do anything for you that would go against their duty to the court.

3. To act with honesty and integrity

- The duty to act with honesty and integrity includes not misleading or lying to anyone, not encouraging other people to mislead or be untruthful, not paying witnesses for their help, and only accepting money and fees that they are legally allowed to.

Alleged, he has contested the announcement and the possible bias of the committee.

Not alleged. Guilty of being a grubby thief. The result is half his salary is being docked.

As pronounced by a possibly biased committee, claimed to be not fair process by Farage. The result of any appeal by Farage is awaited.
The Eu is not very good at even signing off its own accounts and has a massive problem with detail and recording its expenditure, even the pay of MEP's.

Just because this supports your wish (being against Farage) it cannot be accepted in any way that the Eu accounting methods are either robust or accurate.

Personally, I hope the dick gets caught. I believe he brought the Leave campaign into disrepute many times. Any judgment finally proven on him does not say anything about the correctness of leaving the Socialist project that is masquerading as Eu.

The final judgement has been done. It’s over. He’s guilty. He’s losing half his salary.

In other news Charles Bronson is appealing his conviction. See how this works?

That is untrue (but please do not let legal process get in your way will you), Farage has the absolute right to appeal to the European court of justice. In fact two other investigations into Ukip MEPs were recently closed without any action.

Those such as Elk who suggest that this is a hatchet job ought to show some reasons for thinking that. All that they can do is posit conspiracies. The facts that there has been a year long investigation and that no concrete suggestions of unfairness have been published are not meaningless.
I suppose that a simple example of 'proxy' evidence that there is no 'hatchet job' or conspiracy might be for the EU to publish (or the Guardian to report on) all the other MEPs similarly investigated for misuse of full time assistant salaries.

It would be very, very unlikely that there's only the one rotten apple in a cart of 751 MEPs, no?

Legal standards are low in Breadvan72 it seems, maybe a name change to Beria72 would be appropriate ?

Do please describe the universe in which Farage is not a fascist, racist, and bigot. Is it the same Land of Narnia where you live?
define:
Fascism is a form of radical authoritarian nationalism, characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and control of industry and commerce

So much leftist bog dollop, whereas Corbyn and his Marxists bottom feeders left wish to do ALL of the above with added Anti Semitism. nice club you are in Breadvan
Given the club he is in, I continue to be surprised by his choice of words and personal insults in a public forum. When I was a nipper, his profession commanded respect. How things change.

PS....you'd better shut up now, or he'll be chasing you with nasty emails. I know these things.. hehe

Do people honestly think Farage is a fascist? rolleyes
There are contemporary witness accounts of Farage as a youth at Dulwich displaying clear fascist tendencies, but obviously that was a very long time ago, and people can change.

An effective classical fascist would be all about ruthless party discipline, the acquisition and retention of sufficient political power to effect economic control and thence suppression of any effective opposition.

Farage and UKIP on the other hand are an amalgam of the Muppet Show, the Underpant Gnomes and Herpes. Clueless, at times hilarious, but fundamentally quite nasty and difficult to completely get rid of.
Ruthless party discipline, the acquisition and retention of sufficient political power to effect economic control and thence suppression of any effective opposition...

...that's enough about the EU. I think the thread is about painting Farage as a fascist...
