If you really believe that you need to consult a dictionary or buy a new one. “Inciteful”? What hysterical nonsense.

Anyway, having ditched the bimbo (apparently) will he stay on as leader? Farage for (yet another) comeback? You could say that UKIP is now too small and an irrelevance for an ego his size - but he doesn’t seem to have many offers on the table? Photo with Trump - tick, dick about with Bannon and the Alabama loon Judge - tick. Not really achieving much though is he?
March 2019 ought to bring about the winding up of UKIP - but will they survive 2018?

I think there is no need for UKip or future for it, it is (as is Farage) a one trick pony. All the "other stuff" they have tried to put forward has repeatably rejected by the Uk voters and always will. This despite the left's attempt to paste the worst of it on the "average conservative" voter by using their disgusting generalisations and accusations of racist/bigotry.

What does your dictionary say?
It is normally used in the context of provoking, goading, stirring up, rousing etc.

Maybe you think this was a genuine post by Breadvan72 and he actually believed what he said? Of course, that would mean you think he is an idiot!

So ignoring the thread topic, and off topic yourself?

As you've been asked before - but failed to answer - who exactly do you think has been insulted or incited by BV's post?

I’m genuinely curious as to how that scenario arose?

Was it “Free entry for single mates and stallions? Was the horse dressed inappropriately? Maybe some kind of grooming was involved?

This has nbeen Liberal party policy since at least WW2 and Clegg just happened to be the leader when the chance of a change came up, so you can't realy put the "bame" on him.

But having said that, the policy has always relied in the backgrround on the electorate choosing one of the three major parties or the nationalists where applicable. Nobody ever thought for one minute that the Monster Raving Loony Party would rebrand itself in purple and actually get people voting for them in decent numbers.

I was a supporter of the idea of PR for many years, but ironically since the rise of purple army I'm very glad the country didn't vote in the way that the LDs wanted.

As streaky used to say on here, be careful what you wish for...
Cleggy is very much to blame. He was given full authority to offer a referendum on PR and on the form of PR to offer. PR can operate in a number of different ways. Cleggy opted to choose a PR method which would have resulted in the Lib Dems being always in power. It made it very hard for new parties to join the party.

Now I am not saying if he had offered a better option he would have won but he would had one more vote.

Quick Monday morning skim of this thread reveals that none of the usual suspects, including sidicks, ribena and hosenscheisser has taken the opportunity to condemn the racist little trollop. The thread is instead full of the usual deflection.

What a surprise!

That's not how I recall it.

I'm no LibDem fan (though I do think the coalition govt they were in was probably the best we've had for a while) nor Nick Clegg fan (despite/especially coming from Sheffield)....but I believe he felt the AV system we were offered was a poor compromise. I believe he wanted the "single transferable vote".

IMO that particular referendum was a stitch up. AV was too complex, poorly explained and would have been unlikely to yield anything materially different.

I think we need to do something with the upper house. Perhaps keep the lower house as it is with FPTP, but have an upper house established using pure PR. Something radical definitely needs to be done and has been needed for a long time.

(As for UKIP, they became an irrelevance on 24th June 2016, and the subsequent events in the party have only served to highlight that....if the result of the referendum wasn't enacted then they might have had a resurgence...but Farage parodying himself, and the rest being far less able politically has killed them off).

Yeah perhaps he can step up to the plate now and become the 6th leader in 16mths.

Maybe Paul Nuttal can lead again? After all he's cured cancer and scored a double hatrick in the Premier League since he last held the mighty kipper reins.

175 MPs did vote against same-sex marriage in the UK, from across all parties.

UK - 400 to 175, 75 abstentions (61.5% in favour)
Germany - 393 to 226, 4 abstentions (63% in favour)

I'm glad the votes went the way they did. It seems to me to be very simple - if you don't like same-sex marriage, don't marry somebody the same sex as you. I really cannot understand why other people's relationships are an issue.

Or what the personal opinions of the German Chancellor have to do with a discussion on a(nother) racist UKIP member.

Sorry, busy morning. I must have missed it.

Why don't you do me a huge favour and quote your condemnation?

I think sidicks is too busy avoiding my question - on who he thought BV was offending - to spend much time avoiding your question.

Maybe he can multitask though.
