Tag Heuer advice....

As someone who hasn’t worn a watch for years they’re not really something I know much about, but lately I’ve been looking into buying myself a watch, nothing too extravagant, just something nice.

So I’ve been looking at the Tag Heuer F1 Chronograph (Blue), price I’ve seen is £1200, I really like the look of it & it’s the style I’m looking for, just wondered if there’s any others I should be looking at for the same sort of price, don’t really want to be spending anymore than £1200.

It's a quartz movement?? At £1200 I doubt if TagHeuer would be selling something with an automatic or mechanical movement.

If automatic then good price from a well known and respected manufacturer.
If quartz then rather pricey and you'll be embarrassed to show it to anyone who has an automatic

But what you like. It’s your money and nuts to what anyone else thinks. I have a quartz Tag, I like it wear it and enjoy having it.

I also have a few automatics, I never feel inferior or embarrassed when not wearing one.

Depends on what you’re buying it for? Yourself, prestige, bragging rights, re-sale etc.

If you’re set on a brand new Tag, and it ticks the boxes go for it. If you want a Tag and don’t mind pre-owned, then you will get a better deal that way.

If you want an automatic, there is a lot out there for that sort of money which are very nice.
