Yet more conflation.

You're avoiding the question I've put to you twice. What's your motive for starting this thread? Do you identify yourself as racist and/or islamaphobic?
Caught up with tax return yesterday.

I have one Muslim friend so can hardly be either...

Using non eu immigration as a base and assuming that most non eu immigration is of a BAME background.

En masse Non EU immigration brings no financial benefit to the country, it is a significant drain on the system. I fully appreciate that there are individuals, groups of individuals even whole countries that are of great value / benefit to this country, but we don't appear to be that well set up to pick and choose those we want, otherwise en masse they would be a financial benefit.

En masse I don't believe they bring any social or cultural benefits, many will bring issues form the old country that we have little experience of, and no idea of how to deal with. BAME are over represented in the prison system, there are all manner of reasons and arguments as to why, but they are.
I would say they bring / generate more social and cultural problems than benefits, many we don't help with, but they are there. Again there will be those that this does apply to and those it doesn't.
FGM and Breast ironing didn't start in the UK, immigrants brought them with them, why do we want those traditions in the UK ?

Unless we can be more specific with our immigration who we allow in and for what reason, I cant see why we would want En Masse Non Eu migration.

I would not want to bring in a family from country A - two adults 6 children with no real language skills, education or hope of ever being a contributor to the system. Does that really make me racist ?

I have no interest in any of the imported Religions, however one does seem to have more quirks and problems than the others. Do I see any benefit to it being in the UK ? No, I would say it brings more problems than benefits, again there are all manner of reasons and arguments as to why.
If they were news stories of Hindu's killing their own children, cutting bits of their daughter bombing us on public transport, trying to set up a caliphate, grooming gangs etc I would happily point out and discuss this, but there doesn't appear to be as many problems associated with that as there is with Islam.

I see no benefit to Islam in the UK, I think it creates more problems than benefits, does that make me islamaphobic ?

With regard to what is a Good Muslim.
Apologies I was probably a little hasty in my response.

I don't see what a good and or bad muslim is. We have had this before that people are free to pick and choose the parts of the book they follow. Somebody following peace and love, is a Muslim, somebody following the chapters not about peace and love is still a Muslim. We in the west like chapters 2, 4 and 6 so those are deemed good muslims, those who follow chapters 1,3 and 5 are deemed bad muslims or extremists.

Which I think links your question about terrorists and drinking to countdowns point about different versions and different interpretations ?

I think that this confirms you are an ultra right wing reactionary racist BNP supporter. I feel sorry for the one muslim friend you have. Clearly he doesn't realise what a totally unpleasant person you are.
You need a wake up call about how people should behave.
I am stunned that in 2016 you can post such vile outporings of sheer hatred.

I think hatred is a bit strong.

Non Eu migrants over the last 15 years have cost the tax payer high on £150billion.

I am a vile individual to question that and ask why ?

Take no notice. There's possibly a parrot in there somewhere. You're a lovely guy with progressive, and 21st century views. Shame you can't share your embracive views at work, or with the general public, so have to resort to hiding behind a keyword.

Oh, and it's great that you have a black friend. Makes you a good egg.

His post, just said it how it is.

Do you believe that none of his concerns are real and need a sensible discussion to be had?

It's difficult to discuss these issues when 'ultra right wing' 'bnp' and 'racist' are the replies. It just shuts the discussion down.

Quite right but if you look back that is just what the OP has encountered all along. When you get folk l constantly accusing people of being racist you get to see why people get pissed off.
I see one such regular type cannot help himself.

Of course you’re not . This thread, and numerous snide comments on others, provide ample evidence of what you are. It’s purely a conincidence that Islam more than any other religion makes you froth at the mouth.

FGM isn’t anything to do with Islam, and yet you use it to explain why you don’t want “immigrants”. Breast ironing is nothing to do with islam but again its referenced in your diatribe. Grooming gangs have got nothing to do with islam but yet again, they’re mentioned. But let’s remember, you’re not an islamophobe. All of the above references are just coincidence. You’ve got nothing against islam....

This thread is the best example of how you’re not an islamophobe. If you scan back to the beginning it was a “simple innocent enquiry” about why L’Oreal would use somebody wearing a headscarf in an advert for their shampoo. Of course it had nothing to do with the fact that she’s a Muslim eek because, as you keep reminding everybody on every thread where you make your snide comments about Muslims, you're NOT an islamophobe.

And of course you have the obligatory Muslim friend. That’s completely believable because why wouldn’t he be friends with somebody who thinks he commits FGM, irons breasts, and is setting up a caliphate during his lunch break?

The problem is that racist people don’t tend to openly admit it, because most reasonable people would label hem as s, and they don’t like that. So they try to obfuscate and waffle, but if you read a lot of their comments you can normally see through the bull crap.

Like i said above, this thread was supposedly about a L’Oreal advert. It now transpires that FGM, Breast ironing, and setting up a caliphate.. As Baldrick asked in Blackadder IV “How did we get from the one state of afairs to the other sate of affairs”? It’s because DelBoy could only keep up his faux naïveté for so long......

Having concerns and being "ultra right wing", "bnp" and "racist" are not mutually exclusive. Anyone who suggests they are, is the one trying to shut discussion down. There will be those who are genuinely concerned, and those who are knuckle draggers and concerned, and those hiding behind the "concerned" banner.

You always take any criticism of Islam too personally, you could criticise middle aged overweight white guys - I don't care. My comments were En Masse and there are of course those who are of great value to the UK.

FGM and Gangs have been discussed to death on their own threads, breast Ironing was not mentioned in relation to Islam.

Surely you cant deny that islam currently has a PR issue with its own unique problems ?

I don't think islam has brought any benefits to the UK, on the contrary it appears to have just brought / created problems, more so than any other Religion. If it has just brought problems, then no I don't understand why we want it in the UK . I am happy for people in Pakistan to live and breathe Islam doesn't bother me at all, provided it stays there.

I don't have any problem with middle-aged overweight white guys. On the whole they seem decent sort. It's mainly racist twunts that I have a problem with.

And yet, shock horror, you were the one to mention them in this thread, and you were the one to link them to islam. I'm confused - why would a self-avowed "non-Islamophobe" repeat complete rubbish about Islam in a thread about shampoo advertising....?

del mar said:

No, it doesn't. Most people can see, and understand that the actions of individuals don't represent Islam as a whole. It's only non-Islamophobes like yourself that try to paint it as being a "problem".

del mar said:

You're entitled to that view. Of course I'm sure you realise that there was never any requirement for Islam to bring any benefits to the UK, just as there are no requirements for Hindusim, Judaism, or any other religion to bring benefits to the UK. Migration in general I think has brought numerous benefits to the UK, wouldn't you agree?

As a keyboard warrior !!!!

He is a non believer, but she is full on, I have raised / discussed with her;
This advert
terrorism in uk
ISIS
Israel and Palestine.
The Burkini in france
Kill all non believers where you find them
Grooming gangs
Religion itself.
Modest dressing
Beating your wife with a green stick to bring around light correction.
Pakistani Passports
I will send her any nonsense news article relating to Pakistan - normally stoning, Islamic control, blasphemy persecution of Christians and the Ahmadi.etc

Like Countdown she ignores / denies all of it, the standard nothing to do with Islam response, I presume she only reads chapters 2, 4 and 6

You need to separate individuals and en masse, of course there are individuals that contribute a lot and cause no problems, but En Masse I am not so sure.

FTFY.

Her comments wouldn't raise an eyelid on here. She said nothing worth getting sacked over IMO.
