I've no idea who Mia Khalifa is.
Del Boy has had a cock extension since seeing her whilst surfing for creamy shampoo. If Linda is right and this is what a good muslim lady is like, I have got this all wrong. Any woman that can remain "modestly dressed" whilst taking two large men at the same time is ok by me.
Unless Linda is just making a fool of herself yet again.
I have no interest in her religion or the wider scope of women and their role in society. I would say the same if a man in a turban was advertising head and shoulders, I thought it was a ridiculous advert brought about by God only knows what.
Offended seems to be the new buzz word thrown at anybody who has a different opinion. I am not offended by it, I thought it was nonsense but it doesn't offend me.

Re: the bit in bold - Be honest...that’s bks isn’t it? You constantly post threads and comments about Muslims hoping the usual suspects will join you in a group circle jerk. Unfortunately for you, in this case you haven’t managed to gain traction. I’d suggest that you’ve fallen into the trap that L’Oreal’s marketing department set...If Linda is right and this is what a good muslim lady is like, I have got this all wrong. Ps what’s your definition of a good Muslim woman?

In the non motoring section - it seemed an appropriate place to me.Are you suggesting that non motoring threads are banned ?
Can we expect posts about the best tampon size for males next?
Go to any beauty section of a large department store in London, Birmingham, Manchester etc (I only walk through it to get to the tech section, honest) and you’ll see lots of girls and women with headscarfs as customers so it’s a demographic worth targeting. L'Oreal are just doing what’s best for their business - you can’t blame them for that.

Also a lot of the women you see with headscarves on a tuesday are the same ones out partying on Friday. And she's gone.

Of all the social media platforms, Twitter is the one I least understand the appeal.
I've made comments in this very post which could be used against me in some contexts, why would I ever want to do the same with my actual identity on show to the world in <240 characters.
On the other side there's Trump I guess- offends half of everyone and gets elected to the worlds top job!

How can we tell that the product works if you can't see her hair ?
Is it really that easy to sell beauty products to women ? Could we sell them snake oil ?
Daft comment. Have you ever watched a tampax advert? How can we tell that the product works if you can't see her hair ?

To be fair her rants seem to be about the State as opposed to Jew's.
OTOH I thought that one of the objectives of the hijab etc was to protect a woman's modesty, if you will.
Kinda sits at odds with then wearing loads of make up and lippy to make themselves look attractive..
Yeah, I don't think she'd even be able to get onto the "unpopular opinions" thread on PH with those.OTOH I thought that one of the objectives of the hijab etc was to protect a woman's modesty, if you will.

I guess if your job is being plastered across wordwide billboards you're still better off being a blank canvas though.
Might be wrong, but I always thought that the headress thing was modesty before God, not men. I'm sure in ye olde days if there was no qualified christian minister, a woman could lead the congregation provided she covered ger head.
Edit to add, yeah it's used when a woman is doing a "mans job" before God:

Like everything Christian, though, this gets dropped as few really believe it fundamentally.
If the above is too dry, here's the menral gymnastics:

Most sanitary adverts now show blue water and how the unit either fits or is absorbent.
The advertising rules on showing genitalia probably stop the actual tampon being inserted shown.
Ask the ladies in your house things they would expect to see in a shampoo advert ?
If any dare say hair that would suggest they are;
Racist / islamaphobic
