No BREXIT = labour government ... simple ....
Will Labour deliver it?
If they did I very much doubt it would be what we hoped for IE less red tape , pro free trade , controlled and fair immigration .. mind I doubt many people will want to come as we will quickly
end up with a basket case economy modelled on a certain south american country its going to be st

It's sad that most remainers in their desperation to cling to any part of the EU, see this as a good thing.
You could equally say that most leavers in their desperation to leave the EU, see that as a bad thing.

Except that one side won a referendum to leave. The desperation to cling on to any part of the EU is not good for either. Do you really think it will be good long term to be paying in and not at the table ? The EU's first move would be to downgrade the city of London importance to the EU.

Do you think the EU are serious in negotiations currently ? The large number of MPs and Lords outright willing to overturn the result, or water it down to exactly what the EU wants is having zero effect ?
May is doing a poor job currently, but I'm not sure it doesn't fit with the EU to say no to anything, with half a hope that the anti Brexit move in the UK gets bigger still.
If there was no significant anti Brexit hostility from MP's and Lords, I don't think it unreasonable to say we'd be further down the road in negotiations, would you ?

I do not think there is any intention of the UK Government to remain in the EU indefinitely. I do suspect they won't make the 2020 deadline though. Historically the Government, of whatever persuasion, is pretty rubbish at delivering large scale projects on time.

Yes, I do think the EU are serious in negotiations. The UK is not going to get cake.

It got lost in the latest rounds of name calling and 'my dad is bigger than your dad' stuff, but I don't think I've read a single defence of the proposed customs partnership, not even from the most fervent of Remainers on here.

As far as I can tell, there isn't a single poster on this thread who has said they can support the idea of being bound by EU regulations and tariffs whilst not actually being a member. No Remainer is going to call out against it (in case someone thinks they're against the CU/SM in any way), but equally, they don't seem to have a case for it either.

I’m genuinely confused as to how you can sweep away that video clip.
I'm genuinely confused by that clip. It's not clear why he's not using NCTS which I understood covered the sort of cross EU/EFTA transport that he's doing. He says he's working for Eurostar, yet he's the one carrying out manual form submission? Seems a bit odd to me, especially as NCTS is free to use.

I'm also confused why anyone should think that if we changed the border processing between the UK and EU we'd just replicate the most inconvenient paper based system.

I'm confused why (as dave has pointed out) HMRC thinks that cross border trade with the EU would cost an order of magnitude more than trading with China.

I'm confused why the caller thinks that Brexit not happening yet has already 'stopped' just in time deliveries to Nissan and Cowley.

I'm confused why JIT on the scale of a car plant will apparently convert to paper based declarations on the day we leave.

In general, it was hardly a damning video. It was typical JoB stuff where someone who cried at the Referendum result (really?!) rang up to say nothing had changed his mind - and then justified it with disconnected anecdotes. None of it really bears scrutiny unless all you want to do is cry along with the caller.
It's almost like you are saying that ajd/gloria just searches for any bad news and posts it up as proof, without really having any clue on if its in any way accurate or not, mainly because he operates a kinda propaganda war on PH, and seemingly so open mouthed to anything anti Brexit from the likes of JoB. Looks like JoB really knows his audience.
I'll confess I did rather hope Gloria would reply and explain how JoBs video wasn't a put up job made to appeal to Remainers who don't like to think too much, but perhaps that's too much to ask. "You mean to tell me...{pause dramatically}... it's worse than we thought?"

No news on the post held in this medical company yet.
And you won't either.

Car event all day, now some more Cider and a MASSIVE steak in the garden, enjoy your view of the bedroom wall.

That's a bit rude to Mike9009; he did ask nicely.

It would put a perspective on your wisdom when it comes to RoW trading.

Don't need to be too specific.

Like the absolute Nissan guff that cemented ajd/gloria's place in PH Brexit history, he'll just leave it a day or two and find another story to be wrong on, then another, and another and so on. I've read a hundred plus links to the Indy and co with some company saying they may open an office in the EU as supposed proof of something.

My fave part is his tagline of always saying ' The Daily Mail knows it's audience' , while conducting a propaganda war on PH and swallowing all the Indy and co can feed him without questioning any of it, and trying to appear the voice of reason and balance.
