Trump's National Security Council met on Wednesday to discuss the US's response to Russia poisoning Skripal and his daughter. They presented Trump with a recommendation that the US expel Russian diplomats, as the UK have done and other allies are about to do.

On Thursday Trump fired his National Security Advisor, McMaster.

I don't understand why Trump has signed off that budget.

Rather than challenge the establishment he's fallen in line. Possibly the first real issue for him with regard to his staunchest voters.

What are the issues with it?

"“He caved, plain and simple. I guess I voted for a Democrat and I was duped,” lamented a commenter Friday on the “Washington State for Donald Trump” Facebook page."

CNN reported he was told that if he didn't sign it there was a danger he'd end up creating a govt crisis over a weekend he was meant to be golfing at Mar a Lago. So he said "fk that" and signed.

No border wall in it is one reason I've read. Although those bad hombre Mexicans are supposed to be paying for that, so not sure I follow the logic

It was over 2000 pages long, I doubt he read more than the first page, certainly most in congress didn't have time to read it all

Apparently Trump caved and signed because he couldnt go to mar a lago and play golf if he didnt.

top presidenting there.
He didn't want to be in Washington this weekend, the students are marching on the white house in protest over gun laws. Heaven forbid the leader would want to be there to meet them and talk to them when there's a game of golf to be played.

Then of course there's Stormy Daniels interview being aired on Sunday...

Ted Lieu is trolling Trump on Twitter

Dear @realDonaldTrump: You wimped out. You failed to deliver on your veto threat. Now we in Congress will believe you even less. The Republican controlled Congress just rolled you. And they will roll you again. Because when the moment of truth came, you showed great weakness.

https://twitter.com/tedlieu/status/977328573789872...

What needs to be remembered is that trump said that as a great businessman he would lower the national debt which was at ridiculous levels, instead he's already added over $1trillion to it

The delusion is incredible. Or it’s satire, but who can even tell these days.

She’s got really nice legs. However the thing Ive noticed about both her and Jayda Fransen , they both have really scary eyes. I’d describe them as “stabby “ IYKWIM.

Anyway Donald seems to have p155ed off the Conservative wing of the Republican Party but at the same time he’s appointed John Bolton who is a Tea party wet dream. JB who wants to invade anybody and everybody doesn’t really fit with the Nationalist viewpoint of “not getting involved in foreign affairs” plus he’s a strong advocate (still) of the Iraq War, something Trump says was one of the biggest mistakes ever.

I’ll be honest, I’m getting the feeling that Donald might be out of his depth and doesn’t really know what he’s doing......
