Well you clearly haven't read the article because ...
For someone who claimed not long ago to only deal in facts, it's incongruous you didn't read the article before commenting.
Wait - are you saying Coyft only reads headlines - who'd have thought...

There was a certain amount of undisguised glee from the newsreader last night when he announced that Trump was coming to visit on Friday 13th. hehe

Wouldn't a 757 be a bigger status symbol than something like a G650? For a start it's literally bigger....
Only in the same way that a 1998 Mercedes S Class would be seen as some to be a bigger status symbol than a 2018 Golf R.

So guys what do we think of the recent announcement that North and South Korea will work towards a common goal of denuclearisation?

Still lots of work to be done, but isn't it fantastic news?!

I think Trumps unconventional foreign policy style had a lot to do with it.

South Korea's Foreign Minister gives him credit and she also said "he was determined to get to grips with this from day one."
I thought you merely pointed out facts?

If it happens it will be good. Trump's approach just seemed to be hyperbolic threats, which the wee NK guy probably took seriously because they're both as unhinged. Was there any more behind-the-scenes diplomacy involved than that?

But maybe that is what it needed. Previous presidents might have avoided engaging with NK on the basis of 'Don't get into an argument with an idiot - they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.' Trump turned the tables in that, in the current scenario, he's the idiot.

Nice change of topic.

Nuclear weapons brought North Korea to the table.

Either they have them, in a warhead with the capability to strike SK/Japan or (less likely) their Nuclear Program has suffered catastrophic failure; and economically they have no choice but to come to peace or risk overthrow.

The credit to Trump is only in him agreeing to meet Kim Yong Un. It's a big win for the North Koreans... whether it works out for Trump remains to be seen.

It’s encouraging and let’s hope it works out well.

I am at a loss to see though how Trump acting like a pre-teen on Twitter had anything to do with it?

Maybe this has something to do with it and not Trump??

I wasn't aware of that... perhaps. Wouldn't be too hard to find another test site though... but maybe all this peace is to buy time to get another site up and running?

China would have put a stop to it long ago.

NK is only surviving because China is backing it. China is only backing NK because they don't want US forces on their borders.

Another site is easy enough, funding it isn't.

What's happening in Korea is about Kim Jong Un needing to shore up his regime. There are threats from within now that potentially outweigh perceived external threats, which is why he's willing to come to the table and discuss denuclearisation.

The idea that Trump tweeting "little rocket man" is a factor here is laughable.

Please do worry about the facts.

Under Trumps stewardship unemployment has fallen to a 17 year low.

Poor effort at trolling. And research. And identification of the "facts".

There is a perfect example of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

I have stated that since Trump came into power unemployment has fallen and is currently at a 17 year low. You accuse me of lying and trolling and yet provide your own evidence that backs up my claim.

rofl

I’ll just leave you guys in your echo chamber for the moment.
Coft I hate to side with everyone else on here but you have lost me with this one.. confused

Thats a graph. A graph showing unemployment has been rapidly falling for over ten years and when Trump came in mid 17 it was flat mostly and has remained so.

As such how is it decreasing under Trump? Sure its not going up as many predicted it would under Trump but its also not exactly dropping dramatically either.

75 charges against 19 of team trump
20 further sealed indictments - probably against trump and trump family members
at least 4 of team trump are cooperating as witnesses
whilst 5 have already pleaded guilty
Cohens taken the 5th so has admitted guilt

Hows those figures? biggrin
Pleading the 5th is not an admission of guilt. Just a little correction there.

Kim's just been to China hasn't he? Perhaps they told him to wind his neck in, and maybe offered him some sweeteners.
