Of course you can - I hold the the very binary view, with no grey area, that Trump is a complete arse. No doubts, no excuses, absolute unwavering opinion of mine.

Sounds like a singular view to me. I think you're confusing binary with lacking nuance.

I would also be curious to know, as a Trump supporter, what did you think of his ‘Birther’ campaign?
I don't support any politician.

Politicians will say anything to get elected.
Okay, let me re-phrase the question.

What did you think of Trump’s ‘Birther’ campaign?
Similar to the £350 million per week NHS campaign, during BREXIT.
You think Trump used his ‘Birther’ lie to appeal to his potential supporters to get himself elected, suspecting that they would support him due to his transparent racism?

Possibly - singular may well be a better, more concise definition of my stance.

It still doesn't explain coyft's ability to state mutually exclusive views and opinions.

With the benefit of hindsight, does anybody think significantly differently from this? Seems very obvious to me that Trump calling for Obama to show his birth certificate was a part of his strategy for running to office - whether he actually believed Obama was born in Kenya I don't know, maybe he did maybe he just wanted to, maybe he didn't believe it all, or maybe (most likely IMO) he didn't give a st either way. and used it as a convenient tool to rally support when he ran against whoever the Democratic nominee was going to be.

Still unable to answer without admitting you've stated mutually exclusive positions, then?

Yes or No?

Why bother responding to an allegation without evidence? Let's see two posts from coyft that contradict one another first

So let me get this straight, "coyft" claims to not be a Trump supporter. Yet the same "coyft" attacks anything, or anyone who is anti-Trump.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to call BULLst on that one. Because he stinks of it.

The same five year old would be confused by the constant posts coyft makes about liking Trump, who he doesn’t support.

My default position is not to trust any politician or media.
So you agree that "it was a complete and utter lie that only morons believed".....?

Come on, he deserves some credit for that!
I’ll grudgingly concede that hehe

Honestly though I think large numbers of Americans would have voted for a huge steaming turd rather than Hillary.

I'm sorry I need to chime in here. What transparent racism?

Please not again. There are hundreds of pages of this thread where Trump has been proven to have been a racist on many occasions

But Trump propagated this in 2011 or earlier and he said he only decided to run in 2016. This is important in the Mueller timeline as the Russians seemed to know in 2013 he was going to run and were actively feeding his ego.

I see. All that drivel again.

So not racist then.

Racist because he called Mexicans rapists and criminals. Well sadly the facts back him up. Its one of the most violent countries in the world.

Racist because of the birther debacle. Its not racist to question whether someone was born in the USA and is therefore entitled to be president.

He tried to block immigration from muslim countries. Well shucks apparently trying to make sure that people coming into the US wont commit crimes and will adhere to American culture and lifestyle is now racist rather than basic common sense.

Unfortunately it seems that these days you are racist just by having white skin and the only way to absolve yourself of your innate racism as a white person is to be permanently offended and attack anyone white for anything that could be tenuously linked to race.

Donald Trump has stated his ambition to run for office for decades, indeed he ran for the reform party nominee in 2000. He announced his campaign for the 2016 nomination in 2015, I am certain he was strongly considering running for some time before that and did not just wake up one morning and decide to do it for a laugh.

Trump continually calling out Obama over his birth certificate was, at very best, a dog whistle and that's being extremely generous. It is obviously racist to
insist on seeing his birth certificate, with no evidence he wasn't born in the US and not any other president's.

Just to add to this, Trump "deciding to run" wasn't because he'd decided he wanted to be president, it was because he thought he could win. I think he'd have run in 2012 if he thought he could beat Obama, too.

I don't know for sure but I suspect it was a tactic.

Trump didn't invent the birther conspiracy, he used it to his advantage. He calculated that by aligning himself with "birther" he would appeal to the patriotic, flag waving "true American".
Still waiting. Why can't you answer the question?
