I know it’s ‘cool’ to say Donald Trump is hilarious and laugh at how he upsets the snowflakes etc etc but are we potentially in agreement that this is just ridiculous?

Seriously?? That’s your counter argument??

Quite honestly, doing absolutely nothing but banning bumpstocks and sounding sorry would be infinitely preferable to suggesting we arm teachers.

I have no idea what the answer to America’s gun problem is but I’m near certain it isn’t Trump. Do you disagree?

Besides, I don’t need to come up with answers because:

1). I’ve not put myself forward to be in charge of a massive country

2). I live over here

Neither of which prevent me from thinking he’s an appalling man who never ceases to disappoint.

Err, counter-argument, was it ?

All I have asked what you would do, since you called it as a ridiculous thing to do I thought maybe you would have at least one little nugget.

I see you have zero clue about what to do so must conclude you are just jumping on the bandwagon. To attempt to blame Trump for the present US gun laws is the ridiculous thing.

FYI, I do not rate Trump in any way.

I think everyone would agree that doing nothing is better than doing something worse. Doing something better would be ideal but doing *something* for no purpose is just stupid, especially if it will make a situation materially worse.

“Well, the chip pan was on fire and I didn’t know what to do so I sprayed petrol on it...I mean, I couldn’t just do nothing so had to do *something*!”

Doesn’t really cut it for the President, does it?

Well the only action taken so far was to enable mentality ill people to still buy weapons.

I'm not sure that's progresses...

Personally, I would deploy the National Gaurd into schools whilst new laws can be implemented (if that is even possible)

But you're talking as if Trump has made guns compulsory, its not as if anyone's come up with an answer in the past,is it?
This is just the next thing anti-Trumps can jump on.Why does it worry you so much if you don't live there? Do you worry about Mexico?

Odd post. No bandwagon jumping here. I dislike him intensely but I always have. I don’t blame him for current gun laws but I find his rhetoric around the current tragedy distasteful. I have nothing but sympathy for the victims. No answers, no solutions. I would try and make things worse though.

The American arms industry must be massive and the players must have some very interesting ties. We'd rather let our kids die than get our snouts out the trough.
Same game plan as the tobacco industry.
And the sugar industry
I hate to say this, but it seems the only industry that is open
and honest is the narcotics industry.

While I'm here, I can see why you can't drink alcohol until you're
21 in the USA, I mean who the fk wants a drunken kid in control
of an assault rifle?

He thinks there should be a rating system for movies and games!

We have to look at the Internet, because a lot of bad things are happening to young kids and young minds, and their minds are being formed. And we have to do something about maybe what they’re seeing and how they’re seeing it, And also video games. I’m hearing more and more people say the level of violence in video games is really shaping young people’s thoughts. And then you go the further step and that’s the movies. You see these movies, they’re so violent and yet a kid is able to see a movie if sex isn’t involved, but killing is involved. Maybe they have to put a rating system for that.
IT’S THE GUNS, YOU MORON!
