No not really. Just someone who doesn't buy into all the BS spread about.
I have watched a lot of footage from that event. I have read a great deal about that event.
I do not excuse the Nazis beliefs.
I do not claim to have been in the mind of the loony who drove into the protesters.
It does however seem likely he did so as he felt they were to blame for the statue protest being cancelled very early and frankly simply for protesting against his beliefs.
I realise that you consider yourself an 'independent thinker' and have probably exposed yourself to rather a lot of propaganda. However, I think you should probably take a deep breath and have a bit of a careful consider of your position. What you are doing is justifying the actions of a Nazi who killed a civil rights activist. The justification you are using is that there was a counter protest and therefore his feelings were hurt.I have watched a lot of footage from that event. I have read a great deal about that event.

The thread is dead now - ruined by idiots.
See ya'll around.
Eric, respectfully, with over 100,000 posts on this forum it's possible at least a few of yours didn't advance the debate in any meaningful way, even on this thread.See ya'll around.
I think you need to chill out.
Over the past few weeks there have been any number of threads where some have crawled out from under rocks and posted truly abhorrent stuff. I'm fine with them being called out on it.
We don't need tone policing right now - we need terrible opinions to be labeled as such, in whatever way suits the individual poster.

First it was anyone who isn't actively on this thread posting bad things about trump is a trump supporter and an utterly bad person and now this. But wait it is trump who is the fascist. This thread just keeps on giving...
Hey welcome. Good call and fear not they have MORE than enough angst and vitriol to share around with those who don't toe the line and follow the book of Liberalism.Hell of a day for you.
Also I had my first piece of naughty private mail call me names from a guy here called mailydail.
But really weird part is the email address it comes from j3kkf@usako.net you Google it and you seem to get Russian webpages.

Just to be clear about Charlottesville.
That was the fault of Two Primary parties.
1 The governor for cancelling the protest by the Nazis and conservatives and
2 Antifa.
Those were the two primary factors. The Nazis and conservatives turned up armed and ready as they had been advised Antifa were attending with the intention of being violent as usual and the Nazis and conservatives decided enough was enough and if Antifa wanted to be violent they would get the same back.
The governor closing down the Nazi and conservative protest very early on very likely led to the nutter wanting revenge against those he saw as being responsible in the form of the protestors it did not matter if they were Antifa or not in his mind.
Astonishing. Do real people really hold these beliefs? Or only on an internet forum after their shift has finished? That was the fault of Two Primary parties.

Seriously F12 - do your wife and kids know of your Nazi leanings? Your tacit approval of murder?
I can’t debate with your ilk, so like Eric, I’ll be taking a hiatus.
I do think you are quite a nasty person, your defence of the dregs of society speaks volumes.

Well put. I don't believe my comments change anything. Just my way of labeling stupidity about serious matters. We don't need tone policing right now - we need terrible opinions to be labeled as such, in whatever way suits the individual poster.
I am genuinely sorry to the guys reading this and genuinely interested in Trump and the goings on. I am sorry if I have had a part in derailing the much appreciated work of byker and the like.

God no.I just would hate for someone like that to attempt to publicly think I was with him.
How do you feel about our resident "seer of all sides" literally welcoming you?

Placing the primary blame for the murder elsewhere is pretty compelling evidence that you are an apologist for the murderer.
You are right. Looking back the way I phrased it certainly appears I am blaming the nutters actions on others which is not the case. What I was getting at is if you do not understand WHY something happened you cannot make sure it does not happen again.
Everyone blaming the Nazis "because they are Nazis" is stupid.
People are entitled to protest whether you agree with them and their views or not
That day COULD have been prevented had Antifa not turned up and engaged in violence against those they disagree with.
It is perfectly reasonable to suggest that had Antifa not turned up that day Heather Hayer would not have died and the other protesters the nutter ran over would not have got hurt either as there would not have been violence and the Nazi protest would not have been shut down very early.
That's just as stupid as what you said.
The bizarre thing is you were saying Trump is not like Hitler, yet it seems now even if he was then he should be allowed to do so, as anyone shutting him down would likely cause violence and impact his free speech.

Nazis need to be opposed everywhere they appear.
