It does however seem likely he did so as he felt they were to blame for the statue protest being cancelled very early and frankly simply for protesting against his beliefs.

I realise that you consider yourself an 'independent thinker' and have probably exposed yourself to rather a lot of propaganda.However, I think you should probably take a deep breath and have a bit of a careful consider of your position. What you are doing is justifying the actions of a Nazi who killed a civil rights activist. The justification you are using is that there was a counter protest and therefore his feelings were hurt.

Over the past few weeks there have been any number of threads where some have crawled out from under rocks and posted truly abhorrent stuff. I'm fine with them being called out on it.

We don't need tone policing right now - we need terrible opinions to be labeled as such, in whatever way suits the individual poster.

That was the fault of Two Primary parties.

1 The governor for cancelling the protest by the Nazis and conservatives and
2 Antifa.

Those were the two primary factors. The Nazis and conservatives turned up armed and ready as they had been advised Antifa were attending with the intention of being violent as usual and the Nazis and conservatives decided enough was enough and if Antifa wanted to be violent they would get the same back.

The governor closing down the Nazi and conservative protest very early on very likely led to the nutter wanting revenge against those he saw as being responsible in the form of the protestors it did not matter if they were Antifa or not in his mind.

Astonishing. Do real people really hold these beliefs? Or only on an internet forum after their shift has finished?

Well put. I don't believe my comments change anything. Just my way of labeling stupidity about serious matters.

It is perfectly reasonable to suggest that had Antifa not turned up that day Heather Hayer would not have died and the other protesters the nutter ran over would not have got hurt either as there would not have been violence and the Nazi protest would not have been shut down very early.

If we get into an internet argument and I come round and kill you as a result, is it your fault you died because you could have not provoked me into it? Do you ever view there being a point at which speech is limited? What happens if I want to go around nude? If people try and stop me is it their fault if I get angry and run some people down as a result?

The bizarre thing is you were saying Trump is not like Hitler, yet it seems now even if he was then he should be allowed to do so, as anyone shutting him down would likely cause violence and impact his free speech.
