Supreme Court agrees with Trump re: travel ban

Trump seems to have a knack of identifying vote winners. I'd say about 40% of US voters will strongly support this, 50% will be indifferent, and possibly 10% will be against it. It was never going to be a vote loser and he will rightly be able to boast about being strong on immigration.

I thought it was reported a month or two ago that he had go to 3000 since taking office, that link is saying 1800?

ETA 3000 as at the start of may

Either way it's a hell of a lot

The worst thing that happened at Charlottesville was a man running over a st load of pedestrians.

That was primarily the fault of Anitfa and the Government - right?

Please tell me where I've got you wrong.
Well i don't know I mean i think someone being killed over a simple protest is pretty fking wrong but then it likely would not have happened if Antifa had not turned up and been violent, which in turn caused the governor to close down the statue protest very early, which in turn likely led the nutter to drive into the protesters out of anger and resentment at the protest being closed down.

Driver of car was a braindead sack of st but likely would never have driven into the protesters if the Nazi and conservative protest had not been closed down very early through violence and disruption by Antifa and other groups in attendance.

Its fairly simple stuff.Cause and effect. If you want to see it as excusing the drivers actions in establishing WHY he did what he did then that's on you.
God all those allied troops wouldn’t have died if they just didn’t turn up and fight the Nazis! It’s our own silly fault isn’t it!

Pathetic and abhorrent.

Weird how these people above making hundreds of posts in this thread (not supporting trump but providing balance) all seemed to join in the last year.

Just reading those its shocking that the President of the USA can freely just spout whatever bks he wants to say. Whenever he is called out on it, his administration spin it to say well he didn't mean that or claim another lie to cover that lie.

No wonder he only does interviews with Fox News as he would be pulled apart by other networks.

Im really hoping Mueller gets to interview him. They could just start the tape and watch him bury himself.

This thread would be a much better place if you stopped yapping on about concepts that you patently do not understand.

An interesting thing I learnt today is that Trump had changed responsibility for firing drone missiles from the Pentagon (as it was under Obama) back to the CIA.
What that means is that now they are less accountable and more secret.
He has also loosened the rules of engagement to include associates of targets including family members, rather than the targets themselves.

I'm sure there are 'internet research agency' controlled accounts on here. They were/are running a large campaign of stirring up arguments about Brexit, immigrants and politics in general on forums and social media. Pistonheads gets enough traffic to make it worth their while.

There are definitely posters like elk above joining and making hundreds of posts about Brexit and trump and liberals and padding it out with 1 or 2 posts about other things. They all joined in the last year after the last lot were banned from the trump thread and have prolific posting activity.

I assumed they were returning banned posters but perhaps they’re Russians. How exciting.

Elk are you a returning banned poster or in fact a Russian agitator? hehe
